First's PoV
There was no way they could go back to the way they were before. As much as that scared him, it also excited him, looking forward to the new direction they were taking. Together. Hopefully."I like you,"
The words left First's mouth almost too easy, as if they'd been sitting on the tip of his tongue just waiting to be released for decades.
First watches as Khaotung froze by the door, he stayed quiet as Khaotung turned around and let out a whisper of disbelief, "What did you say?"
First looked at Khaotung's facial expression hoping it'd give at least a hint of how he felt about the recent revelation. The emotion hidden in his slightly widened eyes was hope.
First gulped, taking a deep breath. "I said that I like you," He moved slightly closer to the shorter male who'd taken his hand off of the doorknob.
"And I have been liking you for quite a while now, I've just been too afraid to tell you. Because I really don't want to lose you Khaotung." First's voice started shivering slightly towards the end of the sentence, and he'd stepped closer and closer, knowing even Khaotung's scent would be able to comfort him, and calm his anxiety.
Khaotung looked like he was at a loss for words, but at the same time had so much to say.
"I don't expect you to like me back, I know that some people do these things as a more casual thing. I just thought you should at least know that I have feelings for you."
The silence of the room didn't do First's rising anxiety any better but with swift steps and a warm embrace Khao had single-handedly decimated any remains of the otherwise looming anxiety First was feeling.
First felt as Khaotung's arms laid snug against waist, and he didn't take long to compose himself and hug him back, burying one hand in the shorter male's soft hair, basking in the fruity scent of his favorite perfume, on his favorite person.
"I like you too First, so, so much." Khaotung said, his voice slightly teary out of relief, the embrace got even tighter, warmer and more comforting.
First felt as his shoulder got more and more wet, Khaotung tears of relief soaking his shirt, First let his hand run through the hair on the smaller man's neck and massaged his scalp to comfort him. It made Khao nuzzle into his nape, shyly hiding his overwhelming emotions from being seen.
First pulled away still having Khaotung at an arm's length, what did this mean? They both felt the same way?
He didn't know, but what he did know was that Khaotung from this ankle looked even prettier. The way his wet lashes laid elegantly against his upper soft cheekbones, the tips glimmering in the light.
His lower lip looked plumber than usual as if it was asking him to kiss it with his own lips, the red tint to his lips from the lip balm he wore earlier staring right back at him.
First didn't know how long he stood and just admired the other, but Khao hadn't made any move to stop him yet, and First liked to think that he was doing just the same.
Once First's eyes had made it back to Khaotung's, he was looking right back at him, almost as if he could read him as a book. First let out a soft sigh, gathering the last bit of courage needed and asked, "May I kiss you, Tung, not as Akk not as Sand but may I First, kiss you?"
