Vampire's Romance

1. New Term.

I sprang up from my bed. I realised that summer vacation was over, finally. Although I wasn't so enthusiastic about the idea to school. Though I decided to ignore all the bad facts and got in my usual form. I got in the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror.

"I, Diana won't let people get on my nerves and be calm" I said to myself loudly. 

It was a thing I always did to come in form.I had made up my mind that being calm was better in this time. I quickly then brushed my teeth and continued getting ready. I knew that I was gonna be late if I think about anything else unimportant. I quickly went out to my room, looked out of the window,not was sunny which I didn't like and then packed my bag and went down for breakfast.

"Breakfast's ready Diana!"

That was my mom.

"I am coming! I am on the stairs!"

I quickly went down the stairs skipping one stairs now and then and finally reached out, I saw my father getting his shoes on with bread in his mouth. I ran to the kitchen knowing that my mom won't like it if I will be late to reach the kitchen.

"Are the stairs that long?"she said angrily handing me breakfast as I took it.

"No mom, I just did not want to fall." I said, annoyed.

"Sit at the table" she said it in a demanding way.

I never really liked her or her moods. You could never predict what her mood was. Sometimes she would so happy like she won the lottery or so angry as if somebody killed or sabotaged her childhood and herself. I know it doesn't make sense. How is it supposed to make sense if her mood is confusing?

"Well have a good day at school , stay out of trouble, do your homeworks."she said turning to me with a unpleasant face.

"I will mom." I said quickly getting up and putting my plate in the sink and getting out and muttering a bye, trying not to sound rude.

Outside my dad was waiting at the front door.

"Let's go you are gonna be late. And fix that jacket of your's, keep it on the shoulder."

He then walked outside the door and me following him and looking out. It was sunny. I fixed my jacket and quickly got inside the car. On occasions I would sit in the front seat or else, always the back. I looked out trying to think something to gossip about with my friends because I knew it was gonna be a boring day. As I was lost in my thoughts the car stopped to a halt and soon I was at my school. I got my backpack on my back and got out and said bye to my dad as he drove away. My bestfriend, Ayasha, saw me and came running to hug me.

"Heyyyy how are you?!" She asked jumping slightly.

"Honestly, kind of annoyed."

"I see. Wel, how was vacation?"

"Better than I expected it would go!"

"That's nice! Anyways you know that new boy who joined our school?"

"I just came Ayasha"

"Right well I have heard that he is hot and rich and he has a mysterious aura around him."

"How do you know so much?"

"He is in school!" She said still jumping slightly and going red from her cheeks.

A new boy, that's good. But for some reason I feel as if there is something suspicious about it. I thought as I checked my new timetable for this year.

"Well I have English. Oh man. I swear to god if it is the teacher from last year I am gonna ask to change my class" Ayasha said taking her books from the locker hastily.

I chuckled."Well I have physics."

"See you later then." Ayasha said and went to her class.

I walked to my class room after getting my books. I tried to get my mind off that new boy by thinking about what we were going to learn today in biology even if it wasn't my thing to study about. When I entered the class the atmosphere seemed different but I tried not to think about. I had a very bad habit of getting distracted. And it was worse in me than in others. I quickly got to a seat. Just in front of me was my friend, Calvin sat. I decided to catch up with him to distract myself.

"Hey Calvin! How was your summer?"

"Oh hey Diana! I didn't see you!"

"Wow Calvin. What do you do all the time?"

"Far better things then you."

The conversation stopped as the teacher enters with a boy. He was wearing black mostly, which made him look kind of attractive. He had this cool and serious look which for some reason was calming to see and looked like a god. The teacher spoke suddenly snapping me to reality.

"Students, we have a new kid for this term. Please introduce yourself to us."

"Hello my name is Xander. I hope we can have a peaceful year ahead!" His voice was even better than I had expected it to be. He then slowly scanned the classroom and suddenly froze looking at my direction.

"Very well, welcome Xander. You can sit next to Diana." Of course he had to sit beside me. Nobody sat with me.

He stood there but then walked towards my table and sat. He didn't say a word and I didn't say anything either. Then the class started. The teacher was talking something but then I noticed from the corner of eye that he shifted away from me. I was confused. I thought my clothes smelled bad. But I reminded that they just came from the washing machine. I tried to ignore that. Then he suddenly covered his nose a bit which made me more perplexed. I was having a million of thoughts at the same time. Then after half and hour, the bell finally rang. Everybody got up and left. I saw Xander get up and leave in kind of a hurry. I thought maybe he just left early so he could find his class.

Ignoring that, I walked to my next class, history with Calvin who surprisingly has it with a me too. He was asking of the new boy was saying anything. I said he didn't say a single word. Calvin smiled and I asked about his summer. I and Calvin were friends since childhood and we usually told everything to each other but this time I had this feeling to keep it with me only. I tried to listen to his visit to Japan and it was boring. Thankfully, we reached out class and Xander was nowhere to be seen. A wave of relief went over me and I sat behind Calvin since he was forcing me.

After 4 more periods, we had lunch. I was really glad and went to the cafeteria as soon as possible. I wanted to tell Ayasha about what happened in biology. After I told her she laughed.

"Look it might be he needed space ok? Don't worry Diana, you smell great."

"I know Ayasha."

Then Calvin caught up with us and he said he'll to both of us and Ayasha threw a face at Calvin as he sat on the table. They both never liked each other for some reason. One or the other day they both complain about each other and tell me to break my friendship with the other person. Thankfully, it had stopped but I guess it will start again.

We all were talking when suddenly Angie, the smart girl came up to me and said that the principal called me. I was so confused. It is just the first day and I am called to the principal's office. I reluctantly got out and walked to the principal's office worried. Angie told me to wait out till the principal called. While I was waiting, I couldn't help but eavesdrop on what the principal is talking about. 

I heard Xanders voice and I could hear him talking something about changing class. The physics class. I was angry. I have never thought a person could hate somebody in one moment. The. I heard the principal saying no and called me in her office. I walked in pretending I didn't hear their conversation. The principal asked me to take Xander for school tour. While she introduced me to Xander, I couldn't help but notice the look on his face. He was angry and serious and had the face as if someone kicked him on purpose. After the principal was done Xander walked out of the office followed by me behind him.

God knows what will be happening now.
