Vampire's Romance

Convincing

As Xander and I left the kiss, we both looked at each other. I felt I was going red while he looked handsome as always and looked irresistible under the moon light. Then I remembered, the hunters. I suddenly left his arms and held my chest tight. Just thinking of it made me sick. I looked down to get some sir and then I looked at Xander's face. He looked at me with worry.

"What did I do? Did I do something? Should I take you in?" He asked me perplexed.

I nodded my head and led me to my bed and I sat on it. After a breathe or so I explained him all about the things I saw while researching about the vampires and how he is in danger and he needs to watch out. After I finished, I was still feeling sick. But Xander just laughed. I looked at him furiously. I cared for him and this is how he treats me?

"What's so funny?!" 

"Just the fact that you think I am clueless about them. Of course I know about them. That's a reason I said that I won't be coming to the dance." 

The dance.

"Your not... Coming?"

"Well, you know it could be dangerous for me. They'd find a way to trap me there and then create a scene in front of the whole school. But, if I do get my parents convinced enough to let me go then, yes I can. Maybe,-" he stopped and from the looks of his face, he was thinking of a plan I presumed. Then he suddenly smiled like he always did.

"Maybe, you can convince them."

"What? But I don't even know how your family is like-"

"Oh don't worry, they won't mind a visitor. Who is my girlfriend."

I blushed as he took my hand and out. 

"Well then, are you ready?" He asked me and I nodded back to him.

He then took me in his hands and then jumped off. I held him tight and closed my eyes from fear and then when I felt that we were on the ground, I left him as he placed me down. Then he removed his phone and texted.

"Our ride will be here in a minute." He said looking at me warmly and removed the jacket he was wearing and placed it on my shoulders so I wouldn't feel cold. Minutes later, a red car which looked pretty expensive pulled in front of us and then someone rolled down the window of the drivers seat. It was Alice who was driving the car. Xander then opened the door at the back and then he sat in the front. They were talking something about him going to the dance and when we reached house, Alice just signed and said guess they will decide. Xander then got out of the car and opened the door. I got out to see the same house I had been to last time. Alice went to park the car in the garage and Xander led me in. 

When he opened the door, we were greated by white walls with a chandelier hanging from the roof. Then there were stairs leading to probably the second floor. Then suddenly the door on our left swung open and Alice came through.

"Yeah I'll call them." She then proceeded upstairs. 

She returned 10 minutes later with a man and women who looked pretty young but not too young. I presumed that they were his parents. I noticed that they both had red eyes too and as they came down the lady flashed a warm smile at me. Then she motioned us to sit on the couch near the T.V and Xander drove me to the sofa and made me sit down. And then they were sitting on the opposite couches.

"Mom, dad, this is Diana. Diana these are my parents."

I smiled nervously at them.

"What a beautiful looking lady you have found Xander!" The women exclaimed.

"And what's your relationship with her Xander?" The man asked.

"Dad, come on don't pester Xander like that. And Xander come to the point."

"Diana, it's your turn." He whispered to me softly in my ears.

"Well, it is a pleasure to meet both of you. And I am aware that you all are vampires and about the situation which would be preventing Xander from coming to the dance." I said and paused to look at them. They did look shock.

"And what you want to ask young lady?" The man asked.

"Well, Xander asked me if I could convince you both to let him go." I said smiling and putting him in trouble.

"Diana!" He whispered in my ear.

"Oh I see Xander asked you dear. I am sorry on his behalf for troubling you. Well fo course he can if he has got you. Though Xander, please try to stick with her. I am sure she won't let you get hurt." She added smiling.

Then, the discussion shifted and it was about get to know me. They asked questions about my parents and life. I answered all of them and I started to get comfortable with them. Xander didn't speak at all the whole time and kept weirdly quit. I was worried about him and regretted of joking with him. Maybe he got hurt from my joke. 

After some time, as I was distracting myself from the sadness from Xander, he suddenly got up and said that he needed to drop me home or else my parents could get worried. We both knew that he knew my parents don't care if I am dead or not. Alice offered to drop us home and Xander nodded and just left to go to the garage. I said bye to his parents and followed him back. The whole ride to my house was silent. When we reached, Xander said that he will go with me and Alice just left.

We entered my room through the window and I changed into more comfortable clothes and looked at the time. It was midnight and I wasn't feeling sleepy at all. When I came back after changing, suddenly I was pushed and pinned to the wall by Xander. I looked at him and noticed that we were inches apart from eachother.

"That was really rude what you did back there." He said pouting.

"I am sorry Xander. I was just joking around with you." I said pating his head softly and trying not to scream of how hot Xander was.

"Well, I guess I'll accept it." He said and then kissed me. The kiss felt like a long one. And when he left my lips, I was breathing hard.

"Damn, I always wanted to do that with you." He said teasing me.

I just pouted at him and went on my bed and laid down. Then I felt Xander beside me too and he pulled me closer to him and I laid my head against his chest as he and I kept talking and I slowly drifting off to sleep.

As I told that I am taking a short break cuz my exams are like on 1st March and I haven't studied a shit (WhatshouldidoIamgonnalitreallydieplesesendhelp) so yeah I am gonna try study which I obviously won't and since I have like loads of book on Wattpad to read imma read them.
