It had been 3 years since my last relationship. Somewhere I wasn't ready for more. A year into practicing law had me avoid men even more. I was back to korea since a year.

Nobody talked about my break up ever again. Taehyung is about to hand over the position and shift to the headquarters to take over some serious positions I couldn't give two shits about. I just need to go and vote or something as a shareholder.

"Y/n" I heard him calling my name.

He asked me to meet at a branch of Seokjin oppa restaurant which hasn't even opened up for public access yet in other words, he wanted to save money on renting the whole place.

"Considering the fact that the firm has your family name on it. You are a narcissist" I said and he chuckled.

"That is why I have the offer for you" he said and I focused.

"How about, taking... The family name." He said and the world stopped for me.

"Kim and Kim. One belongs to the managing partner, taehyung's dad and next to a name partner, your dad. Considering the four kids who are gathered by those men. Only two are available. You and Taehyung." I said and he laughed at the end.

"You quickly analyse and go through the whole scenario around you whenever you are confused. Makes you a great lawyer" He said mid chuckles.

"Y/n, I'm asking your hand in marriage. While we are talking, my parents and your parents are also talking" He said and I was confused beyond reason.

"Do you love me?" He asked and I didn't have anything to say.

"I am crossing 30 soon. I have to get married, because I'm a very young CEO. My investors trust me as long that my father is who he is and I'm acquainted with The Seo sheorim and The Lee Ji young. Your parents, the god of the korean economy. Acquaintances don't work too long" I gulped when he ended it.

"You want more than being acquaintances. You want them as in laws" I said while poking my teeth.

He got down on his knees next to me. Holding both of my hands. "listen, y/n. I need this and I know girls have fantasies. I swear I'll make sure I give you the treatment you deserve and I will come around to loving you eventually with all of my heart" He said and smiled at me.
