Q trudged in the snow in hand with his siblings. Aya was squirming in an attempt to run away and the twins were being quiet as usual.
"Q! Look at that dress!" "You already have 10 new dresses this Christmas alone, Aya." "Big Brother Kyusaku, I want that kimono." "No Hikaru, Chuuya-san and Kouyou-san have already gifted you kimonos this Christmas."
Hikari's small hand tugged on Q's shirt, silently taking his attention to the store she pointed at. A clothing store that had Western style male clothing in the showcase. 'Seems she likes the shorts', Q pondered. "I'll tell Chuuya later." "Aya, look! Q's playing favourite again!"
Q sighed as he watched Luci and Luca drag behind them, clearly tired and Maria and Marion who magically got permission to come and were chasing each other in the park.
Chuuya had done to buy them all hot cocoa with the Akutagawa siblings. "Luca we're bored!" Their voices faded away as Q watched the snow slowly fall on his nose and melt as soon as it touched him. A snowball to Q's head ruined the peaceful moment. "Hey Q! Stop moping and play with us!"
In the distance, Aya, Luci, Luca, Maria and Marion were having a snowball fight. Hikaru and Hikari sat patiently on the nearby bench and excitedly watched the playing children. Q quickly joined the game by landing a nice snowball on Luca's face. "Oh I'm in, you little punks!"
*Thirty minutes later*
Chuuya returned to a pile of cold, sneezing children and his youngest twins laughing at them. Chuuya and Gin giggled to themselves while Ryu cracked a small smile.
Today solidified Chuuya's resolve to make sure that these children could have a normal life. Chuuya softly whispered under his breath, "Merry Christmas everyone."
