Chapter Four

I woke up the next morning, feeling groggy and tired.

I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, taking a shower and getting dressed.

I was drying my hair when Sans knocked on the door.

"Come in."

"Hey, Y/n, can I ask you a question?"

"Sure."

"Would you like to come over to Tori's house today? Frisk is staying the night there, and she wanted me to invite you over."

"Yeah, that sounds great."

"Cool, we'll be leaving in about an hour, so get ready."

"Okay." I said with a soft chuckle.

I finished getting ready and then headed downstairs, grabbing a cup of coffee and some eggs.

Sans came downstairs a few minutes later, and we ate breakfast together.

When we were done, we headed outside, and Sans drove us to Tori's house.

"Tori is going to be excited to meet you."

"Oh, I'm excited to meet her too, Frisk talks about her all the time."

"She is pretty great."

We pulled up to Tori's house and parked.

"You ready?"

"Yeah, I'm ready."

We walked up to the door and knocked.

"Sans, is that you?" Tori's voice called out from behind the door.

"Yeah, we're here."

The door opened and Toriel smiled at us.

"Hello, Sans, and hello, Y/n, it's so nice to finally meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too, Mrs. Toriel."

"Please, call me Tori."

"Okay."

We walked into the house, and Tori showed us around.

"Your house is very beautiful."

"Thank you."

We sat down in the living room, and Tori served us some tea and cookies.

"So, Y/n, tell me about yourself."

"Well, there isn't much to say, I'm a college student, I'm not very exciting."

"Nonsense, I'm sure you're a very interesting person."

"I don't know about that."

"Well, I'd like to hear all about it."

I spent the next hour telling Tori about my life, about my schooling, and my interests.

"Well, you sound like a lovely person, and I'm very glad that Frisk has someone like you to look after her."

"Thanks."

"I'm going to check on dinner, why don't you two go out and enjoy the night."

"That sounds great."

"Cool."

Tori smiled and headed into the kitchen.

Sans and I headed out onto the back porch, and we sat on the steps.

"So, Y/n, can I ask you a question?"

"You just did Sans" I said with a chuckle, "But yeah, you can."

"I know you told me to drop it, but I'm still worried about you."
