I fell for the millionth time trying to do a backflip onto Adams's hand. "What's up with you today, Grace? Is there something wrong, you're usually so great at these stunts." Hazel furrows her eyebrows, looking concerned. "I'm fine," I grumbled and stood up from the ground. "No, you ain't, my wrist is hurting from you slipping all the time. Just go have a break or something." Adam rubs his wrist.
"No, I can do it. Let me try again." I took a deep breath. "Nuh-uh, my wrist fucking hurts." He groans in pain. "C'mon, Grace, let's just go sit down." Hazel starts motioning me to follow her to the bleachers. "Whatever, fine-" I get cut off by a repulsive voice coming from behind.
"Grace," Avery called out, I groaned and turned around to Avery flicking her long dark braids away from her face. "Fuck you want." I mumbled. "Come meet me after practice." She ordered while chewing on pink gum. "No, I don't know you." I rolled my eyes, turning my head away from her. "Grace, I could kick you out of the team if I wanted to." She threatens while crossing her arms. "Are you threatening me?" I glare at her, and she glares right back at me. "
Just do what I say, Miller." Fuck, I hate it when she calls me by my last name, she used to always call me by my last name when we were friends. She walks away to join the other cheerleaders. I hated the way she walked, it was too perfect.
"She's gonna fucking lecture me like she always does..." I grumbled and sat my ass down on a bench, instead of walking up to the bleachers. "Ugh! I hate her, I want her dead!" I yelled, I don't even care if she heard me. "She thinks sooo much better than me! Well, fuck her, ill take my revenge!" I slammed the beach with my fist and kicked the dirt under my feet.
"Okay, batman." Adam giggles and sits next to me. "Do you even have a plan?" Hazel gives me a nervous look, I expected her to stop me, to be honest. "No, I don't." I crossed my legs and arms. "Do you know any of her secrets?" Adam questions me. "She doesn't have much, the ones I know are like little ones." I sighed.
"Then I don't know how I can help you." Adam leans back into the wall behind. "Well, she is lactose intolerant, right? You could spike her coffee with real milk." Adam suggested with an evil grin on his face. "No, don't do that, do something that will emotionally damage her. Like what she did to you." Hazel also proposes, quite surprisingly, that this is coming from her.
"Woah, where did little Miss Goody Two Shoes go?" Adam says with his mouth wide open. "It's hard just seeing my best friend suffering every day, maybe a little retaliation won't hurt..." She shrugs and sits on my left next to me. "Your right... ill think of something..." I clawed onto the metal bench as hard as I could.
"Make sure It's nothing you would go to jail for, okay?" Hazel sighs. "I'm gonna fucking destroy her, like how she destroyed me..." I stood up with determination. "Adam, I think I'm ready now..." I announced as the wind blew my light brown hair to the side, while my brown eyes glowed in the sunlight.
Adam groans and gets up. "Fine whatever last time, fuck up again, I quit." He takes a few steps behind me. I do my backflip, and he lifts me up in the air. I finally landed the stunt, Hazel stood up and began cheering and jumping around.
"Fucking finally!! We got our Grace back!!" Hazel screams excitedly. "Guys, do you think that Ume saw that? Do you think she'll want me now?" Adam says while putting me down to the ground. "No she probably didn't, ask her to practice with you, bro." Hazel sighs, sounding disappointed. "But what if she says no... she's always practicing with her stupid friends." Adam groans and starts beating up the air.
"Fuck you looking crazy for? What if she's looking right now?" I give him a strange look, and he quickly stops. "Fuck now she probably thinks I'm a weirdo..." He puts his hands in his hair in disbelief. "You are a weirdo." Hazel chuckles.
* (After practice)
"Grace come here." Avery says, stopping me from leaving, I groan, turning around, and marching my way over to her. "What?" I grumbled while looking at the ground. "What's going on wit you." She crosses her arms while glaring at me. "What the fuck do you think?" I mumbled. "Stop mumbling and speak up." Avery demands and leans closer to me. "I said, what the fuck do you think?" I yelled into her face, causing her to step back. She was silent for a few seconds, just staring at me. "I'm sorry, okay... I didn't mean it..." She says like she was ashamed of what she did, but I was buying it. "How the fuck did you not mean it?" I glared at her, I felt like ripping out every single eyelash she had.
"You don't understand Grace..." She steps away again. "What don't I understand, huh? Tell me, but there is no fucking real excuse for that shit!" I can't think of one reason it would be okay to kiss your friend's crush when you didn't even like him in the first place! "I'm sorry... it's just the big game is coming close, and I need you to be the great out there. You're one of the bes-" I cut her off.
"Shut up, I don't want to hear it! Stop trying to be nice to me and stop trying to be my friend again!" I storm away to the shower room, I require a cold shower right now because of how sweaty I was from failing all the fucking time, WHY DOES NOTHING GO MY WAY. There were some girls left changing, but I wasn't bothered greeting them, I was so fucking mad that I just got in the shower as quickly as I could.
