A book of fictional scenarios telling the story of KPOP girl group Z10N, a female sub-unit of Seventeen. Six members, Three units, One journey. That is... Z10N.
Today, HYBE Labels announced the first two members of their new girl group over social media. In a video on the entertainment company's website, CEO Bang Sihyuk also announced the name of the group and its meaning.
"Z10N is like a paradise. A place where you can be at your best in every shape or form. The number 10 used in the name represents success and perfection. The members of Z10N will strive towards success and perfect the essence of their abilities as they reach their place of paradise, a place of happiness where their true goals are met. Six members + Three units + One journey = Z10N..." Bang Sihyuk explained.
The first member to be revealed is a familiar face in the KPOP industry - vocalist and dancer Sena Yoon (pictured below on the right). Sena was the main dancer and maknae of HYBE's previous girl group ROXI (2017-2021), known for her bunny-like charms and sweet personality. Her stunning visuals have also gotten her world-acclaimed modeling deals with some of the biggest fashion brands; she's also shown her acting chops lately in several Korean dramas.
As soon as she was revealed as one of Z10N's members, old fans of her previous girl group went ecstatic online, showing their love and support for the idol! In the official photo below, Sena is seen as vibrant as ever wearing her natural hair color and a simple white top.

The second Z10N member to be revealed is a new face. Kimi Quispe-Mamani is a singer from Los Angeles, California. Not much is known about her except that she has a popular following on her YouTube page, which KPOP fans quickly discovered after this reveal announcement. On her page, she has several videos of cover songs that she and sometimes a band perform. As you can tell from the photo above, she is also skilled on the guitar -- how cool is that?! Another fun fact: Kimi is half Indigenous and half Peruvian, which means she would become the very first Indigenous KPOP idol!
