HYBE Labels revealed two more members of their up-and-coming girl group just 24 hours after their first reveal, and Asian music fans were elated to see two popular faces.
Baek Haru, who is professionally known as Ruby, pictured above on the right, is a well-known, very popular KPOP idol who debuted in ROXI (2017-2021) similar to Sena who was revealed to be a member yesterday. Ruby is known for her edgy appearance and charismatic rapping abilities; in fact, she's released music with a variety of Korean rappers, like Jessi and Zico. She also released her own solo music in 2019. Aside from her rapping, she's also a talented singer/dancer and is known to write and produce her own music, which is why her fans have given her the "all-arounder" title.
The other revealed Z10N member might be familiar to Korean audiences who keep in touch with the overall Asian music scene but is especially familiar to Chinese audiences. Xiaoqing "Christina" Cheng, professionally known by her stage name Cheng, pictured above on the left, is a Chinese-American rapper who placed third on China's reality competition series 'The Rap of China' in 2019. After appearing on that show, she gained more popularity and participated in other Chinese reality TV music competition series. KPOP fans also quickly discovered that Cheng has an old YouTube page where she uploaded covers of popular rap songs when she was younger.
