Author: Btw the timeline probably doesn't match up with like the episode but I saw something on Pinterest and decided to write this so boom! (Also I know Property Police are like brothers but I can also kind of see them romantically but idk, I love their brother love)

Jimmy sat on the edge, his legs dangling down as he looked down at the server below. Martyn walked over and sat next to him. Jimmy either didn't notice Martyn or chose not to acknowledge him.

"You look happy?" Martyn joked, trying to get the depressing look off the other dog's face. Jimmy lifted his head up and looked at Martyn. Martyn noticed Jimmy's sad eyes, knowing his joke didn't work.

He decided to ask what's wrong. "What's wrong?" He asked as he scooted closer. "I'm going to die today." Jimmy said. Martyn's face dropped. "Don't say that." He said in an almost angry tone, not quite angry because he didn't want to make Jimmy more sad than he already was. "Why? It's true." Jimmy said as he turned, his face back to looking down. "No it's not, at this point I'll probably die before you." Martyn said, looking at his hearts. "You don't have a stupid canary curse." Jimmy retorted, bringing his knees to his chest.

They sat there in silence for a little while, Martyn not knowing what to say. "I'm trying." Jimmy finally said. "Your best?" Martyn asked. "God, I hope not." Jimmy said. But then he wrapped his arms around his knees and his ears went down. "But yeah, probably." Martyn hearing this made his heart break slightly. He put a hand on Jimmy's shoulder. "I promise, I won't let you die."

Jimmy heard Martyn's voice say over and over again in his head. Jimmy did die, but he didn't die first. That was a win in his books. "Thanks Martyn." Jimmy said right before hearing Mumbo spawn behind him.
