Kuch Toh Hai

Chapter 7

HM entered the classroom,her commanding presence naturally drawing attention of  students making their hushed voices die out and silence fillling the room making a stark contrast to the chaos that was errupting with students' chatters a few minutes ago. Students greeted her and with that Hm started her lecture.
All students were listening to her attentively coz they were aware of the strict behaviour of their new teacher that she doesn't take any buttering from students

Ks was also attentively listening to the lecture but then
A doubt arises in KS's head , she was about to ask her doubt but as always hesitation took over her and she refrains herself from asking anything.

Hm asked all the students if they understood the topic or not , students nodded their head in a yes . Hm took a moment to scan her students and her eyes noticed ks sitting on the last bench with a  frown on her face . Being a teacher hm sensed that ks wants to ask something but she is hesitating . Hm asked her through eyes if she has any doubt? To which ks avoided eye contact with hm and nodded her head in a "No" .

But hm was not fully convinced with her answer as teachers  has this special power in them , they can sense if a student has some doubt in their head . But she thought to let it go for the time being.

The lecture proceeds but now everything was going above ks's head cause of that one doubt which she didn't cleared cause of her hesitation. Still she tries to focus on the class . She gives all her attention to the heavenly Gorgeous teacher and the  words coming out from her mouth but nothing was making sense in her head. Soon her attention diverts towards HM 's facial features, her brown eyes and lips moving in a perfect sync , the hand gestures she was making while explaining, her lips twisting and the skin between her eyebrows contracting while thinking something. All these little things seemed so interesting to ks that she barely paid any attention to her surroundings .

"Alright!! Aaj ki class khatm hoti hai, aaj jo topic padhaya hai kal iska test hai so be ready for that! agar kisi bhi student ko koi doubt hai toh wo  humse personally aakar bhi puch sakte Hain " hm said this while glancing at KS and exited from classroom.

Hm left the classroom but not before locking eyes with KS
Ks was a bit startled with this .

Huh? Why did she look at me like that?
Was she indirectly hinting at me to come to her and clear my doubts??

Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aaya aur kal iska test bhi hai , maybe I should go . Agar test achha nahi gya toh kya sochengi wo humare baare mein .

But going to a teacher to ask doubts was so unlike of KS . She never went to any teacher after class to clear her doubts. If she had any doubt then she would self study or try to find the solution through internet. She was in in dilemma whether to go or not .

after college;-

Karishma is walking through a street market deeply lost in her thoughts. This is one of the most popular saree bazaar of lucknow . She often comes here .... Obviously not for buying sarees and all but, to buy a glimpse of someone, a certain someone whose memories are deep buried in her heart. 

umm.... someone special??? Well She herself is in doubt about it . Sometimes when the person doesn't come she spents her time watching random people buying their desired dress. She likes to watch people doing their ususal shopping spree. Some girls are here with their would be partners, buying sarees, bangles, chirping in excitement about their near future life together. some girls are just hanging out there after college or school. Some kids are with their parents enjoying making precious childhood memories. Admist all the chaos karishma is walking in the street aimlessly icecream in one hand observing every stall , every small shop to find a glimpse of a certain someone but that person is nowhere to be seen. Its been a month already but still no sign of that person. 

After wandering around for a bit more time KS decides to call it a day and heads home with the hope of in her heart - may be next time.
