[clifford]
I saw that girl again. She said her name was Ashley. Rather than my like towards her growing, it was slowly deteriorating with every insult she threw my way. She'd constantly call me shit like 'Clifford the Big Red Dog' and 'Mikey'. I hate that name with every fiber of my being; it literally makes me sound like a 5 year old who believes in super heroes.
That's only half true, because I am so not 5.
But her company keeps me entertained. She's been here all day everyday for a week and she's here at 8pm today, as usual.
"Hey, what's up?" I ask her.
"Oh, nothing. Nothing other than the fact that I'm about to fucking crush you at this game today." And with that she begins walking past me to enter the supply closet. I walk in straight after her, without question and plop down right next to her on one of the bean bags we have set up in this sanctuary we've built in the past week. There are huge stacks of video games, punk rock magazines and comic books scattered around the room, along with a 20" TV that we collectively bought from the technology aisle.
We sit in here almost everyday, and Mr Irwin is such a laid back (aka absolutely shit) manager and hasn't even noticed.

"Do not even," Ashley said, right before I wiped her out with my dragon ball.
"And the master does it again!"
She rolled her eyes. She does that often and I take note of that. Ashley slowly gets up, stretching before heading towards the door.
"Where you goin'? Did my dominating win crush your ego that badly?" I said with a mocking pout and whiny voice to annoy her even further. There she goes again with the eye roll.
"Not exactly, Clifford. I actually need to get going and get back to my mum."
"What, why?"
"Because I still need to unpack my shit."
"Alright, Fanta." I got up and ruffled her bright blue hair at the new nickname I just cursed her with. "You best get going then, huh?"
"Yeah I- hold on what? Fanta? Are you fucking me?"
"Not yet." I said with a sly smirk
She rolled her eyes, "Bye."
And with that, she left.
A terrible chapter. I apologise
