Me, Yeji and Ryujin were seated in the third row to watch the basketball match between the A-2 section guys and C-1 section guys. Hyunjin was in the A-2 team and Jaemin was in C-1 team.
"You are from A-1 tho, why are you even watching the match?" Ryujin asked.
"Yeah.. you don't even like basketball" Yeji added.
"I just came to cheer Jaemin" I said bluntly.
Both of them made an 'Ooooo' face. They both know I like Jaemin but we all made a deal to not talk much about it in public cuz Jaemin is almost friends with everyone and us talking about it will only get us into trouble. They still tease me in private tho. I pretend like I don't like it but I could say I don't hate it either. Maybe I like it, just a little bit I guess.
Few seconds later, the match has started and everyone were cheering for the boys. I too started cheering for Jaemin and I noticed that I turned two heads. Jaemin and Hyunjin. One smiling and the other side eyeing. Soon, the match started and everyone got into positions. It was pretty tough because it was a match between the best teams. Everyone had their eyes on the scores. Cheering loudly. As Jaemin was passing the ball to his teammate, one of the other team 'accidentally' hit his leg and Jaemin missed it. The other got the ball and made a score. It looked like the hit was pretty hard.
The match has finally finished and the A-2 team won. We three went towards Jaemin to see how he was as he got injured.
"Are you okay, Jaemin?" I asked out of concern. "He probably did it on purpose! It was pretty bad" he said and started rubbing the spot he got hit. "Lemme see" Ryujin said and looked at his wound. "Damn.. looks like you got pretty hurt. That bastard!" She cursed. "Yah, Jaemin. Just go, get it treated" Yeji said but Jaemin just kept touching the spot. "Wait here. I'll be back" I said and got the first aid kit I always carry. "Move" I said and started treating his wound. "Hey, Minsoo. It's okay. I'll handle it" Jaemin said. "No, it's not okay" I said firmly and continued.
As I was treating his wound, I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked to my side and it was Hyunjin. I met his eyes and he immediately looked away. Strange. He never done that before. He would stare back as if it's a staring contest and I would always be the one to break the eye contact first.
"It's weird"
"What's weird, Minsoo?" Jaemin asked.
"Oh yeah, nothing. I was just thinking of something else. Doesn't matter" I said. Jaemin just hummed in response.

The bus arrived. I sat in my usual spot in the bus. The window seat. I took out the novel I started reading a few days ago and I'm totally hooked. It's called 'The Inheritance Games'. The plot is so good and main characters? A chefs kiss! It's just so good and I can't stop reading it continuously. After 'Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo', this was the book that kept me wanting more.
