Weeks passed, and the anxiety for Nick had become unbearable.

One midnight, unable to contain it any longer, Nick sought solace in Matt. "Hey, Matt," he began tentatively, the vulnerability evident in his eyes. "I don't know what's going on with me. I can't shake off this anxiety, and it's getting worse."

Matt, sensing the gravity of the situation, put aside his phone and pulled Nick into a tight embrace. "It's okay, Nick. You're not alone in this," he reassured.

In the quiet of the night, Nick poured out his struggles, the weight on his chest finding release in the presence of his brother.

Matt, having battled anxiety himself, shared his journey and the coping mechanisms he had learned in therapy and a few that he has learned on his own.

Nick looked up at Matt, his eyes reflecting a mixture of admiration and guilt. "Matt, I didn't realize how bad anxiety really was and you've been dealing with anxiety for so long. I feel bad that you had to go through all of that alone," he admitted, his voice quivering with emotion.

As Matt listened, a knot formed in his stomach. He could sense the sincerity in Nick's words, and he reached out to his brother, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Hey, Nick, its okay we're family. We're here for each other, no matter what. You're not a burden, okay?"

But Nick couldn't shake the guilt that clung to him. His thoughts raced, and suddenly, he felt an overwhelming sadness for Matt's struggles. The realization hit him hard, and tears welled up in his eyes. It was the first time Matt had seen Nick cry in a long time, and concern etched across his face.

"Nick, what's wrong?" Matt asked, his voice tinged with worry. His hands shook as he reached out to embrace Nick, feeling a sense of panic at his brother's unexpected tears.

"I... I just never realized how much you've been through," Nick confessed, his voice choked with emotion. "And I hate that you had to go through it alone, Matt."

Matt tightened the hug, offering a comforting presence. "We're in this together now, Nick. You're not alone either. We'll figure it out, okay?"

Feeling the weight of Nick in his arms, Matt held onto his brother even tighter, providing a sense of security in the quiet of the midnight parking lot.

As Nick's breathing slowed, Matt noticed the subtle signs of sleep taking over.

Carefully, he shifted Nick into a more comfortable position, cradling him with the gentle touch of a brother who understood the depth of each other's struggles.

In the dimly lit surroundings, Matt held Nick close, a protective embrace that spoke volumes.

As he felt Nick relax in his arms, Matt whispered, "I love you, Nick," the words carrying the weight of shared burdens and a newfound commitment to face their challenges together.

As the first light of dawn painted the sky, Nick stirred in the warmth of Matt's embrace.

Slowly, he opened his eyes, the realization of his surroundings coming into focus.

There he was, still cradled in his brother's arms, the residual weight of last night's emotions lingering.

Matt, sensing Nick's awakening, gently tightened his embrace. "Morning, Nick," he greeted with a soft smile, his eyes reflecting a mixture of care and understanding.

Nick blinked, the events of the previous night flooding back. "Matt, I... I didn't mean to fall asleep like that," he admitted, a hint of embarrassment coloring his cheeks.

Matt chuckled, brushing away Nick's concern. "No need to apologize. We all need a moment of rest, especially after the emotional night we had. How are you feeling?"

Nick sighed, a mix of emotions playing on his face. "Honestly, a bit better. I didn't expect to fall asleep like that."

Matt grinned, ruffling Nick's hair affectionately. "It's fine you had a long time. We'll figure this out together, okay?"

Nick nodded, a small but genuine smile forming. "Thanks, Matt. I appreciate you being there for me."
