Time seemed to have gone by really fast.
So much had happened since coming back. One is I'm pregnant which I didn't know till I was back at the uni and started getting sick. I hated the smell of things, and I didn't want to eat what I used to.
Lip asked if I wanted to be seen by a doctor and I told him while he did his finals I'd go and be checked out since I had done my finals early this morning.
It was at that check-up that I found out I was pregnant. I had gone to an obgyn and seen I was three in a half almost four weeks pregnant which was the last time Mickey and I had sex.
After I thanked the tech and got my papers I sat in my car and called Mickey or tried to but he never answered.
When I shared the news with Lip he was happy for me and asked if I told Mickey but I told him that he never answered his phone.
Now here I am a uni graduate who has fully moved out of her parents' house and into her own little place.
I had called Mickey again trying to reach him but got nothing.
"just go over there' Lip says
I looked at him and sighed.
"I don't want to deal with him cheating on me or some fucked up shit," I say
"I'll be right there," Lip says
I nodded my head before I drove over to Mickey's. Lip and I walked up the steps and knocked
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Mandy asked having answered the door.
"is Mickey home?" I asked
"Yeah in his room," she says stepping back
I walked in followed by Lip.
"stay here if I need you I'll holler," I say
he nods his head before I walk off.
when I got to Mickey's room I braced myself for whatever I would see.
I opened the door and saw Mickey passed out.
So I walked in and shut the door before I shook him awake.
"fuck off," he says
"I just got here. now you want me to leave?" I asked
his eyes flew open and he shot up out of bed.
"Baby," he says
"yeah?" I asked
"What are you doing here?" he asked
"Coming to see why you've not been answering my calls" I replied
he sighed and rubbed his face.
"dad has been working us like pack mules," he says
"well get dressed I wanna take you somewhere and talk," I say
he nods before he does just that.
Once he was dressed and ready to go we headed out and I took Lip home before I got to my little place and headed inside with Mickey.
"cute place," he says
"thank you" I replied
"so what is it you want to talk about?" he asked
"you being a father" I replied
the look on his face was that of shock and confusion.
"What?" he asked
"Yeah. you are gonna be a father Mickey," I say
he took a seat and didn't say a word just sat there so I continued.
"I had gone back to uni to finish it up and I started becoming sick. I found out from the doctor I was pregnant. then I went to an obgyn and they told me that I was at the time four weeks which was the last time you and I fucked" I tell him
"you've been trying to call me and tell me but I never picked up" he says
"right" I replied
"Now what?" he asked
"Now I am gonna be a mom and you have the choice of staying with me and being a father. or walking out that door never to know our kid or be with me. cause Mickey I'll not abort my unborn child nor will I abandon them. I haven't seen them apart from the scans and I love them wholeheartedly." I tell him
he sits there taking everything in and I sit not too far from him giving him space to process the whole ordeal knowing it's a lot to take in.
"I told you I want to be with you," he says
"yeah, I know you did. but now it's your chance to decide if you want to be a father or not" I tell him.
he gets up and comes over to me.
"I'm not gonna abandon our baby or ignore the fact that they exist despite not being born yet. I am choosing to be with you and be a father," he says
"you positive?" I asked
"I love you and I want so much with you. a family of our own being one. yeah, we dont really know much about each other. but that never stopped us from fucking that amount of times we had. & it doesn't change how I want to spend my life with you and only you." he says
I smiled before I grabbed his face and kissed the fuck outta him.
