Chapter 7

°Zhongli's POV°

I was reading...thinking of what childe had did...unbelievable...i cared for him...yet he takes advantage of me...while I was drunk.

My thoughts were interrupted as a loud repeating bang came from the door..i got up and opened my door to see...Barbatos..?

-"Barbatos what ar-"

-"THE TSARITA TOOK CHILDE!"

He screams panting...before I could finish my sentence...my heart dropped as I heard the word took...

-"To-took.?!"

-"yes you old rock!"

Why would she need him?! I might've lied about the contract yes...but why.?! Dammit!

-"where!?"

-"I don't know! She disappeared into a portal!"

Theres no trace of him then...what have I done..?

-"Come on! We need to go!"

-"wh-where!?"

-"look for him what else? Ask Tsarita to give him back and we'll hand her candy?!"

As times passed...no where...he was no where to be seen...nothing...i started to lose hope...i couldn't believe it..was he really gone?

-"Ex-excuse me...have you seen a ginger boy...about this tall uh a bit silly but feisty?"

Barbatos asks a stranger they shake their head and apologize as they leave...i frown as I continue to look around for him...the traveler comes up to me...

-"are you looking for childe? "

-"Yes.! Have you seen him!"

I ask as paimon comes flying towards me

-"A tall lady took him to Snezhnaya.! "

She screams out and shakes me, Snezhnaya...thats all the way over the land...dammit..

As we place our stuff on the boat...i can't help but wonder...why would she want him back...it can't be anything good...

We get onto the boat and start to make our plan...

-"Okay...so in order to get Childe back we need to distract the guards and the other harbingers...uhm..i'll distract the guards in front..paimon cover the cameras...venti you need to fight the harbingers...ill come along to fight with you this, will get the Tsarita's attention...Zhongli when I give scream wind blade very loudly you go and get Childe out of here. Yes? We'll be after you."

The traveler explains the plan, we all agree and we all started to prepare our weapons and everything...i can tell some of them are nervous...

°Childe's POV°

I get brought back to the hideout where the other harbingers are...

-"Well well well, look who it is, it's the Ed Sheeran fetus.."

Colombina says as she giggles and sits in her seat...I frown as she knows how I hate being called those sorts of names

-"yes hello colombina"

I say sarcastically as I give her a annoyed smile

-"where have you been tartaglia?"

Capitano asks me as he fixes his mask.

-"uhm...outside.."

-"and where outside..?"

He asks and I just look away as I sit on my chair

-"none of your business"

I reply coldy as I look down...did Zhongli really lie about the contract..? Why would he...and this makes things much more worse...if Tsarita decides to do something...then...it will go against everyone which will be terrible...for fuck sake.. Zhongli what did you do...

-"we're going to attack celastia...we have 3 of the gnosis...it will be much more power."

The Tsarita says...my heart drops as I look at her...the other harbingers smile as I look at them in disbelief...

-"what's the face for hm tartaglia?"

Pantalone asks as he smiles quite intrigued knowing there's a reason to why I'm concerned...i look at him as I put on a straight blank face

"Nothing dumbass. Plus none of your concern."

I say with a hiss as I stare at Pantalone with a glare, he smirks as I shift on my chair into a position I'm comfortable with.

-"Cold are we?"

He asks me with a smile.

-"just fuck off. My god is it that hard?"

I groan as I look down at my fingers...this is terrible...What did you do Zhongli...this is all stupid..

For the rest of the day I get supervised while training, every move I do they watch, every breath I take they listen, they wont stop until the Tsarita is satisfied...but I'm not tired I'll show the Tsarita I can meet her expectations.

I'm not a dumb dog.
