It was kinda inevitable, not gonna lie. Mellisa is a manipulating brat, but Luke doesn't see that. Whatever. It's not like he ever loved me. Mellisa made sure I was well aware of that.
I've learned, after being broken up with multiple times, that the best revenge is subtle. And so, I'm dressing for revenge, because isn't that the best way to deal?
Make him jealous. Show him what he's missing.
My bedroom floor is a tornado zone. I don't care.
"Jules, you look like a savage. Just chill, you don't need to get revenge immediately." Flynn is on my bed, scrolling on her phone. She doesn't get it.
"Does this look good?" I ask.
"Yes!" she says, looking up. "That's actually so pretty!"
"So, that for school tomorrow, but what should I wear for the dance?" I ask.
Flynn strolls across to my wardrobe and pulls a dress out. "This."
I grin. "Yes."

"How does that girl literally have the worst personality but the best taste in clothes?" I stare at Flynn. "Not that she looks better then you, obviously!" She grins awkwardly.
