Valerie woke up in a cold sweat, sitting up shaking her breath shaky, when she heard her fiancé behind the door, he didn't ask her just walked in to comfort her, she looked up at him,
     "Hey Wil.." she sniffled wiping her tears, Wilbur leaned down and pulled Valerie into a hug, she was crying mostly about the fight from earlier, Wilbur and her didn't have the healthiest relationship, they never had physical fights, but they loved each other dearly.

Time skip bc I'm lazy asf and it's nearly midnight.

Valerie was sat on the edge of the pier, watching the sunset over the horizon, she pulled out her phone and took a picture and set it as her background on her phone, and posted it to instagram, with the caption: "fly high Lilly." Lilly was supposed to be her younger sister, who unfortunately never got to see the world.

When Valerie got home she saw Wilbur was in a pissy mood and probably didn't want to deal with her clingy self, so she avoided him until it was time for bed, she was already in bed by the time Wilbur got there, he laid down beside her and snuggled him behind her, cuddling her, a soft whisper could be heard, "you truly don't deserve me.." Wilbur mumbled in his sleep, when he woke up, he thought Valerie snuggled into his arms so he gently moved his arms to not wake her up and gathered his things to pack up and leave Valerie.. he had been planning this for nearly a year, he had fallen out of love after she proposed, he felt bad about leaving her, hit gut was telling him to stay, but his heart told him to go, he listened to his heart, but not without leaving a note, reading:
"Dearest Valerie,
I love you dearly, but no longer romantically, I have lost my love for you, so I'm leaving. Goodbye Valerie, you are loved."
Wilbur then signed it and left it on the counter along with his ring and left, long gone, he blocked Valerie on everything, then left..

When Valerie woke up, she noticed all of Wilbur's things gone, she got up and went into the kitchen/dining area, she saw the note and read it before breaking down into tears. She calmed down and posted on her Twitter, cancelling her stream, comments flooded with theory's, since she rarely cancels streams, she sometimes streams sick, she then saw Wilbur posted on his alt said that he was going to stream, Valerie got into her alt account and watched the stream there, everyone asking if he had something to do with Valerie's cancelation, "Woah, chat, I don't know what your talking about.. did I break her heart? She doesn't have one of those." Wilbur read out a few questions and sarcastically replied, she donated £10,

"Do you seriously have to demeanor my life even more? You're an insensitive man. I wish I never proposed to you William gold."

The chat flooded with backlash, some of it on Valerie and the rest on Wilbur,
"I-I didnt know you were in chat.. do you want to maybe get in a call to talk about it..?" Wilbur asked before someone calling his discord, Valerie sat there in silence until Wilbur answered, she paused before turning on her camera to see her tear stained cheeks, and a glare.
"Listen I know it was a mistake just let it go Val." Wilbur said coldly,
"Fuck my life. What did you put the act on for William?" She shot back.

After a while of them shooting back and forth

Valerie sat in her desk chair calling her mom, before being sent to voicemail, "This is Dani, leave a message at the beep! c'mon vali it's time to get up.." Valerie smiled at the voicemail, and started to leave a message, "hey mum, it's me again, been a long time hasn't it.?" She let out a soft chuckle, before a few tears rolled down her face, "I wanted you to know I love you.. and that I miss you.." ghost hung up and put her phone on her desk.. after a couple minutes of silence, everything went black..

She opened her eyes to see Wilbur and her father, she had apparently had undiagnosed brain cancer.. and later passed away after her surgery, she lived four more months in the hospital while Wilbur helped take care of her, being there for her death, and crying over her corpse.. her last words to Wilbur were, "I'm just a person.. don't waste your tears and time on me.." she said before she flatlined.
