Sibonelo POV :
I am so glad Buhle said yes. That's why I took her shopping because I didn't want her using her own money, to buy things from Mr. Price. Now that she's my woman, she needs to be spoiled and look the part too. I don't need my cousins talking shit about my girl. Otherwise, I'll execute them myself.

Now I'm driving Buhle back home so she can pack because we're leaving early at 3 am early - it's a long drive, bafethu.

Me: MaBhejula.

Buhle: S'thenjwa.

Me: Don't you want to buy dinner since your mom is not coming home?

Buhle: No, baby. I'm still full.

Me: Mm.

No woman of mine will sleep without eating. I'll stop at McDonald's because it's en route, and it's her favorite. Once we get to a shopping complex, I go to McDonald's Drive-thru. We queue behind a few cars and move forward now and then.

Waiter: Hello. What may I get you today?

Me: A McFeast meal with chili cheese fries and a passion fruit McFizz.

Waiter: Regular,  medium, or large meal?

Me: Medium and a McFlurry and 10 chicken nuggets.

Waiter: Anything else?

Me: No, that's all.

Waiter: Okay, please move to the second window.

I drive forward to the payment area. When I turn to look at Buhle, she's giving me a bewildered look.

Me: What?

Buhle: So much food?

Me: Yes. You must eat. Angfune mfazi owondile mina. ( I don't want a thin wife)

Buhle: Okay.

She chuckles and looks away. I pay for the food and go to collection. A few minutes later, we got the food and drive out.

Me: Can I go to Woolworths quickly?

Buhle: Go, baby.

I park the car and jump out. I forgot to buy Buhle flowers, and that's what I'm getting. I quickly enter Woolworths, take 2 bouquets, and wait in line.

??: Whose the lucky girl?

I turn to look at the person who said that, and it was a very stunning woman. She is gorgeous but has nothing compared to my Buhle.

Me: These are for my girlfriend.

?? " Oh, she's very lucky to have a fine man like you.

Me: Thank you.

??: I'm Amanda.

Me: Sibonelo Ngema.

Manda: Nice to meet you.

Me: Likewise.

Manda: Can I get your number?

Haibo... Girls ask for numbers now?

Me : Cha , ngeke kuze kwenzeke lokho. (That won't be happening)

??: Next customer please teller 2

Me: I need to go.

I go to the till and pay for the flowers, and then I walk out. As I'm approaching the exit of the complex, I see Buhle sitting in the driver's seat, and I can't help but smile.

Me: Hau? You're driving?

Buhle: Yes.

She says with a smile and her eyes shin. My baby is so cute. I can't wait to wife her.

Manda: This must be your sister.

Eish abafazi marn . Why is she here even.

Buhle:  Sister?

Me: Ufunani la? ( what do you want here)

Manda: Oh, I'm parked right next to you.

Buhle: Sibonelo who is this?

Manda: I'm Amanda. I met your brother now and I asked him for his number.

My body immediately tenses.

Buhle: Oh, so that's what took you so long? Exchanging numbers with women while your girlfriend is here waiting for you, mh?

Manda: Girlfriend? Aren't you a little too young -  ahhh!!!! You're hurting me.

I pull her head back using her hair, and I quickly take out my gun, aiming it at her forehead.

Me: Lalela la. Angikwazi , awungazi bese uzodelela umkami emehlweni wam? You better get into that cheap car of yours and leave nxx. You look back. I will shoot you right through the skull uyangizwa.

She looks like she's about to shit her pants, and tears are running down her face. Buhle, on the other hand, is eating her ice cream and dipping fries in it - looking calm as ever.

I let go of Amanda's hair, and she runs to her car , opening the boot and throwing everything in. Nxx bitch.

Me : Suka Buhle. (Move)

I say, leaving no room for argument. Buhle quickly jumps over the center console and moves to her seat. I drive out at full speed hoping to calm down because I don't want to lash out at Buhle.

About 15 minutes later we reach Buhle's house and she looks very tense. Thank God I took the Hilux because we came back with so many things. I helped her unload the shopping bags and also put them in the house for her.  Once I'm done with her things, I just leave without saying goodbye.

It's been a long day.
