Buhle POV
Niyabona abafana...Tell me why Sibonelo just walked out on me like I'm invisible because I was standing right at the door. Maybe he's going to that Amanda bitch because you never know with boys. It may have been just an act to through me off.

I start unpacking the shopping bags and fitting everything. Everything fits, thank God. I start packing my suitcases and as soon as I zip my last bag my mom walks in.

Mama: Baby.

Me: Mommy.

Mama: How are you?

Me: I'm tired mama.

Mama: Sorry baby. Shopping alone isn't a joke.

Yes "alone".

Me: Yes mama.

She starts eying my bags and I know what's coming.

Mama: You bought new bags?

Me: Yes mama. Mine are too small.

Mama: You have money ne?

Me: Yeah something like that.

Mama: Okay baby. I'm going to bed.

Me: Goodnight mama. Should I wake you up before I leave?

Mama: Yes nana. I want to see you.

Me: Okay mama. I love you.

Mama: I love you too baby.

She walks out of my room and I sigh in relief. What if she wanted to see my clothes and some of them are designer brands.

I go take a shower so I can go to bed fresh. I shave and exfoliate. I just hope his family likes me because if they don't... it sure is going to be a long week at the Ngema house.

After showering I take out new pajamas and slip into bed. It's 22:00 and Sibonelo is still quiet. You know what? Let me just sleep.
At exactly 2 am my alarm blurs through my room. Eish konje we're leaving. I wake up and jump in the shower after 25 minutes I exit the bathroom and go get dressed. I decide on a beige LV tracksuit and white and brown Nike dunks. I tie my braids up and do my edges.
The time is now 2:45 I should wake my mom up.

Me: Mama.
I say as I walk into her bedroom. Ahh, this woman is already awake and dressed. She isn't going anywhere so why is she all dressed up?

Mom: Nana. Are you done?

Me: Yes Mommy.

Mom: Okay sit down.  We need to talk.

I wonder what is it now. I sit down at her vanity table and look at her.

Mom: I need us to get one thing straight. Behave Buhle while you're there. I don't want any scandals and phone calls about you doing this or that. Stay away from boys, please. Otherwise...

Otherwise???

Me: I promise I'll behave mama. There won't be any problems.

Mom: Please because Natal is far but ngizofika ngathi idust if there's any trouble.

Me: Yes Mommy.

Mom: Okay let's go.

We go to my room and drag my suitcases out. Once we're at the gate Sibonelo calls and I don't answer it. I'm at the gate anyway. I open the gate and walk out. He has his back leaned against a black SUV and when he sees me he comes closer.

Sibonelo: Sawubona Ma. I'm Sanele's big brother, Sibonelo.

Sanele being the Memolo friend.

Mom: Hello seun. Take care of my daughter, please.

Sibonelo: Yebo ma. She'll be treated like a princess.
Mom: You better, because she is my princess.

Me: Can we please go?

Sibonelo: Okay asambeni.

He takes my bags and places them in the boot while I say goodbye to my mom. After wiping her tears away and kissing her goodbye. I get into the car-backseat - just to avoid questions. We drive off in silence and that just makes me angrier.

Me: Sibonelo if this is how you're going to behave then just take me back home.

Sibonelo: Mama..

Me: Don't "mama" me.

Sibonelo just chuckles.

Sibonelo: I don't sound like that.

Eish this man is an idoit I'm being serious here.

Me: I'm serious wena marn.

Sibonelo: I'm sorry baby. It's just that yesterday's situation got me worked up.

Me: Okay. Where's Nkosenye?

Sibonelo: He is driving to the airport alone.

Me:Why?

Sibonelo: Because.

Me: Mxm.
