First, I want to start off by saying thank you. Thank you for all of your reads, your votes, your comments, your never-ending support, your patience with me, your understanding when a character wasn't doing something you wanted them to do, or didn't handle a situation the way you wanted them too. Thank you for trusting me when I said I believe in happy endings, and just trusting that I knew what I was doing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I started this process five years ago. My therapist knew I enjoyed writing so she suggested I turn my situation into a story. I knew about Wattpad, but I wasn't a part of it yet. I started writing, and went through a few versions before I sat down and started posting it on here. I almost wrote the entire version before I said to myself "I'm censoring myself  because I'm afraid people aren't going to like the real me, which is making me censor my writing. I'm going to write the book I want to write." So, in July 2021 I started the re-writing process, and here we are. The book is complete. Is it perfect? No. Could it be better? Absolutely, but it's very dear to my heart and I wouldn't change a thing. People are imperfect. Your characters should be too.

I'm so glad you guys stayed with me throughout this journey. I will forever be grateful for all of you.

There are two more books in the "To You" series. Next To You is going to be next and it's going to be Jo and Mitchell's story. It'll be a dual POV, friends to lovers, forced proximity, found family contemporary romance, and yes, Delaney and Greyson's story will continue as they will be background characters. Right To You is going to be the third book and it's going to feature Sloan and Gavin, and of course, a lot of Nico. It's going to also be a dual POV, enemies to lovers, big city/workplace, grumpy fmc/cinnamon roll mmc contemporary romance novel.

I'm going to be taking a much needed break before I start Next To You. I'm going to enjoy the holiday and my vacation and get back to the gym and reading books I've been putting aside so I could finish my own. I plan to start up again in February, but I will not be posting any chapters until the majority of the book is done. I find that writing offline and posting when I'm close to being finished works better for me, and that way I don't have to make everyone wait for chapters. We're looking at late 2024 for Next To You to come to Wattpad.

Again, thank you all so much for everything. I love you guys, I appreciate you all and from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Happy holidays to everyone and have a safe and happy New Year!

Talk soon :)
