Chapter 18- Scared & Offers

Roxy's POV

Roxy: yo Ell im going to go on a walk! Love you!!

Roxy shouted as she was half way out of the door. With her hand pulling the knob shut.

Ratliff: alrighty love you too be safe!

As I walked out of the house I locked the front door and walked down the front path. As I was on my mind blanking walk I tripped 2-7 times over a lifted curb. Oops. As I turned the corner that lead to the park my small fragile body collided with one bigger, stronger, and agile body. He offered a hand to help me up which I gladly took and then looked at his face oh god help me.

Roxy: David?

David: well hello Roxy.

Roxy: what do you want. ( she stated coldly)

David: I came here to make you an offer.

Roxy: I don't need your shitty offers.

David: now you listen and you listen good. Every time you are rude to me your grave will get deeper and deeper.

As David stated that You could see Roxy's eyes turn from confident to fearful.

Roxy: go on.( she stated a little intimidated)

David: I will leave you alone if you date Luke again.

Roxy: no way in hell will I ever date him again. He hurt me by cheating on me with my best friend and I will not go through that hell of a relationship again.

David grabbed her arm and slapped Roxy across the face and tugged on her arm.

David: what did you tell me.

Roxy: I said I'd love to date Luke again. He is such a good guy. Who wouldn't want to date him. (She said on the verge of tears.)

David let go of Roxy and watched her run home. As Roxy ran into the house the tears were rushing down her face and when she looked in the mirror she noticed a very visible hand print on her right cheek.

Ratliff: who did that to you!( he said with the build up of anger in his voice)

Roxy: it's fine. Just leave it alone I am taking care of everything.

Ratliff: NO! Roxy really who did that to you?

Roxy: david.

Ok so I'm out of school for the summer and I will now be posting a lot more but this week I am moving so I won't be on much until next Wednesday around that but I will definitely update.
