Chapter 20- Mixed& Confused

~The Next Morning~

Roxy: Hey Ell! What's up?

Ratliff: ...

Ratliff says nothing while holding a blank glare at me only holding one emotion which also showed the most. Anger.

Roxy: Are you seriously still mad about yesterday. Look at me I came back in one piece without a single scratch.

Ratliff: I am still mad because my last girlfriend said the same thing to me last year and the next day it was bye-bye Ellington. I just don't want to lose you. I care about you to much.

Roxy: Well today I have another date with Luke, but to show you that you will never ever lose me I will make it a double date between me and Luke and you and Rydel.

Ratliff: Okay, but one problem. What about David do you think he will be okay with that he is the mastermind behind everything isn't he?

Roxy: I will make David okay with it because he will do whatever it takes to get me and Luke to date even if that means me doing what I want, when I want.

~Text Convo~

Roxy: Mine and Luke's date today includes a double date involving Rydel and Ratliff. No, and, OR's, or buts.

David: But your date was a mini golfing date for 2 at 7:00.

Roxy: Well make it a mini golfing date for 4 at 7:00 and we have a deal.

David: Fine. Luke will pick the 3 of you up at 6:45.

Roxy: okay. Bye.

~End of Text Convo~

Roxy: Okay we have a mini golf double date at 7:00. Go text Rydel.

Ratliff: okay!

I yelled bye to Ell because most chances I wont see him until our double date at 7:00, and it is 1:00 right now.

I went to my room and stripped to go take my shower. Just thinking about this date sends chills down my back. The first time Luke and I dated we had so much chemistry and not just because we were in chemistry class together but he always gave me a feeling of hope for love. That never went away until very recently, more specifically when I met the Lynch's. I don't know which one of the four boys makes my heart melt, but all I know is that Luke can't do the same as the Lynch boys in making my heart flutter. Don't get me wrong though Luke still sends sparks to my whole body. Ugh... I don't know anymore these mixed emotions are killing me.

By now my thoughts have taken over my mind and I didn't even realize that I was done with my shower.

Now time for my outfit. This calls for my expertise. Since Rydel can't help with me I will do this. Just sifting through all of my clothes I wish this was as easy as Rydel makes it look but I finally agreed on my black 3 inch chunky combat boots with mid calf socks with ruffles on top. Then I had my black skater skirt with a teal tank top tucked into it and to top it off I threw on my jean vest. The time now was 5:03.

For my hair I Decided on doing a high pony tail with a French braid going from one side of my bangs all the way to the other side. Make up was to simple today since I didn't feel like doing a lot I just put three coats of mascara on each eye.

Now it was time to go As I got to the bottom of the steps Luke came into full view.

So Here is the update. My softball season is almost over so hopefully I will be on a lot more at the end of this month.
