Chapter 3: Introductions.. again

"Why did we lie to the others?" "It wasn't really a lie. We were walking for a minute, but swinging is more fun right?" I replied. For the past hour I had been swinging around New York, I just now landed on the brooklyn bridge to rest my arms. It feels like my head is going a mile a minute. If we can figure out how to hop into other dimensions like in the movies, our world will expand.
And, I don't know if I'm ready for that.

"You are sad.. Why?" "Because V.." Taking a quick pause I lightlyrun my hand over my curly blue hair. "Our world will expand, Phan and Hobie know it's possible to travel to different universes now. I know that they're gonna start tinkering and figuring out how and once they do I'll be left.. alone'' Before Hobes and Phan.. I didn't have anyone. I moved around so much that I got so used to saying goodbye to my friends, it became second nature. But now, I don't want to say goodbye. "But you will not be alone, you will have me!" "Pfft yeah because you're a parasite" I pushed Venom's face away from mine, only for him to come right back and say "I am not a parasite!" "Ha! Whatever you say bud"
I sit there for a bit longer, just staring at all the lights. All the people who don't have a care in the world. Living normal lives, falling in love, not having to worry about the weight of the world. "Omg I'm so dramatic ugh" I sigh and get up getting ready to go back home.
When all of a sudden I hear a bang.

Hobie's POV
"Birdie it's me again. Phany finally went to sleep and ya still not home. Ya betta answer soon ya muppet, cause I ain't got a scooby doo where ya at"
I shut my phone off as both anger and concern take control of me. I already tucked phany into bed. Walking over to the side he's facing I gently place a kiss on his forehead. I say "Night love" and start heading towards the door. Ready to chase down wherever Angel wandered off to now, though I think I got an idea when I see something out of this universe fall from the sky.

Swinging through the streets getting distracted by some robberies here and there I make my way to where I saw the bloody thing fall.
When I get to the scene to see Angel in trouble tied up with a weird Doc Oc looking bloke. "Birdie ya git."

Ren's POV (10 mins before Hobie)
"The fuc-" "Adventure!" "Ugh I guess, let's go check it out and make sure no one died". Swinging my way down 10 blocks I finally land in an alleyway. At first it looked normal but there was a crater  on the ground. There's no way that thing just left the second it landed. "Gods I wish I had a spidey sense right now. Mask." Copy.

Something I'll do when I know I'm at high risk of injury is have Venom cover my body fully. Don't get me wrong I love my suit, but it doesn't really protect my body much. V keeps me from getting smushed.
"They have to be around here somewhere." I walked further into the dimly lit alleyway, which in hindsight was a bad idea seeing as how a giant metal claw tentacle came out of it throwing me into the air by my foot as I screamed in shock. It didn't give me any time to react when it wrapped more metal tentacles around my arms and legs, immobilizing me in mid air.

A man walked out of the shadows greeting me with a "Hello Peter." He looked like a version of my Doctor Octavious. He had the same technology and everything except he was a he and my Doc prefers to go by she/they.
    What? Just because they're a villain doesn't mean I'm gonna disrespect their pronouns.

Two seconds later a familiar voice fills my ears. "Bit kinky of you innit?"
"Well yes, but I'd prefer if I was doing this with you punk" I can only imagine Hobies smirk under his mask as he jumps down webbing up Male  Doc Ocs head distracting him enough to let me go. "We can talk about that when we get home love." After that embarrassing comment we both swung into action. Doc Oc having taken off Hobies webs by that point. "Spidermen!" We hear the new Oc say as we dodge his metal extensions. "Calm down git, think ya need a nap. Don't ya think Night?" Hobes screams to me. "Yeah.  Seems like It's past your bedtime!" I reply as I bounce off one of the walls in our confined space knocking the Doc in the head with a giant version of my hand  made of Venom.

Landing on the ground I go to turn around when a claw pins me to the floor. "God damn it! Hobie just freed me!" I hear said punk scream a bit trying to do what I can only assume is an attempt to free me again. Seems like it failed when I hear him choking. Panic starts to fill my mind as I try to think of a way for me and Venom to break these arms.
"V you think you can comp through these?" I struggle to say as I continue to be crushed under the arm. "Of Course-" Venom gets cut off when the same portal I saw earlier appears and spits out the same red and blue man. He uses the momentum from the fall to kick Oc down  freeing both Hobie and I, and uses red webs? To connect all the metal extensions to each other. Finishing it off with trapping the Doc in a red see through prism.

Getting up off the ground I quickly run over to Hobie kneeling down to make sure he's ok. Seeing him rub his neck I immediately worry 10 times more. "Don't worry mate, I'm good. Still alive see?" I put my head on his shoulder and sigh. "Be more careful next time, ok? I'm not ready to lose a friend." He puts a hand on my head and plays with some of my curls since my mask was off. "Ya not gonna lose me hun. Not anytime soon... promise".

We hear our "hero" grumble and immediately look in his direction. He seems upset and not fully aware of his surroundings. So naturally, I snuck up behind him. Using Venom to help me look over the broad 5'10 man's shoulder I hear him say. "Mierda, I swear this dimension is like a beacon. Every two seconds an anomaly shows up here." A woman pops out of his watch and  immediately notices me, saying "I think you have a shadow there Miguel" She points in my direction and this Miguel guy gives me a look that would challenge death's cold grasp.
Venom pulls me back to the wall, my gloves and boot attaching to it to keep me up. The broad man steps closer to me and when he's an inch from my face says "Forget you ever saw this, just go on with your life got it?"

He takes my silence as a yes and starts to walk towards the captured villain.
The same portal opens up and another spider person takes Doc away, leaving Miguel to tamper with his watch.
I can tell he's about to leave, but Hobie stops him, still on the floor but asks. "And who's the dodgy bloke we get to thank for savin us?" The man turns his head slightly. "My name is Miguel O'hara. I'll leave your dimension soon, after I deal with one more anomaly." And with that he was gone. Using his red webs to swing across our city.
