drew hadn't spoken to me in days since our last phone call. if i'm being completely honest, he was overreacting — and maybe so was i. yes i did promise i would be there and that was completely on me, but at the same time. i can't control when and where i get to film my scenes (for another movie). i had already apologized for it, but i guess drew wanted to be petty about it when he told his little bestie about it, and posting it on social media didn't help the situation we were in either. that was something that drew had a habit of doing, and it was something i absolutely hated about him. but at the end of the day, i did love him.

now back to odessa, the girl who would always tell me not to worry about — right now i'm not so sure. i never had issues with her or them being friends, because who am i to tell him who he can and can't be friends with? i didn't want to come off as the crazy weirdo girlfriend, and if we're getting technical — they did know each other first. i just found it a bit strange they started talking again and hanging out with each other after months; if not more than a year of not speaking to each other. now they're cool all of a sudden?

i didn't know what to make of it, and despite of the anger i felt towards drew right now, i really wanted to pick up the phone to call him. i would always be the one who would end up apologizing anyway, not that i ever gave it much thought (up until now.)

so i did just that, picking up the phone and hitting the call button. it rang for a good few seconds before the voice of a woman answered.

"drew's phone. who's this?"

valentina scoffed as soon as she heard her voice."what do you mean who's this? you saw who it was when you picked up the phone."

"oh. valentina." she responded with a surprised voice. "i didn't see your name."

i ignored her comment, instead asking her the question she had been wanting to ask. "where's drew? i need to talk to him."

"he's in the shower right now. do you want to call him back?"
