SCIENTIFIC BUILDING, ALTOONA
Martin had been quiet since Godzilla smashed through those Apaches and the city with his siblings being quiet as well. Timothy had walked off to make a few calls some time ago, calling people that they didn't know. The helicopter that was following Godzilla had lost sight of the monster two hours ago in the gulf, leaving everyone tense and on edge, wondering just where he would make landfall next.
"Martin?" Susan spoke up after a few more moments of silence.
"Yeah?"
"What could possibly be in the gulf?"
"I... don't think the gulf is his primary destination. I believe he is just passing through it." Martin went back on twitter to see if there were any developments of Varan's location. He could see posts about something landing in Lake Erie and after that, some people had reported some foaming and churning on the lake's surface. He also noted the tweets about the American military units that were stationed at the southern border being moved and into an defensive line on the gulf coast. It was a clear indication that the government was expecting Godzilla to land someone there.
There were even reports of some national guard units being positioned around Lake Erie.
"We got a possible location for Varan." stated Martin as he turned towards his siblings. "Sounds like it landed in Lake Erie according to some residents in Cleveland."
"Do you think Godzilla is heading to it?" asked Susan.
"Seems like it." It was James who answered. "Godzilla is out for Varan's blood for sure."
"Maybe they have a history? Or maybe he sees Varan as a threat in general and to his territory."

TURKEY POINT NUCLEAR GENERATION STATION, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES
The moon was high in the sky, illuminating the station by the sea. It was a calm night until Godzilla reared up, disturbing the calmness. He stepped into the shallows with a growl, heading towards the station. He paid the workers below no mind as he walked towards the station and repeated the motions that he had done in California. He grabbed the core and started to feed, his dorsal plates giving off their soft, pink glow, his tail lifting and slapping down.

"Looks like Godzilla made a pitstop last night in Florida at four-something in the morning." Martin stated as he looked down at his phone. "He didn't linger or move inland this time, though. Just went back into the sea and moved on."
"Did they say which way he's going?" asked James.
"Up north, it seems like–"
James' phone interrupted Martin and James took out his phone, glancing at the caller ID before stepping out of the room to take the call with a look on his face. Martin and Susan glanced at each other, worried of what this could mean for their brother.
A few moments later, James walked in, looking at them with a serious expression on his face.
"I'm being called in. They want every shoulder who's able around here to get to the units that's at Delaware Bay. I'm... supposed to go as soon as possible." James told them.
"What? But... James, you can't go." Susan shook her head. "You could–"
"Sue, I'll be fine, alright? I need to go, it's my duty as a soldier."
"What if he makes landfall there?"
"I'll be giving him hell then."
"You get your ass back here once everything's said and done, got it?" Martin spoke up.
"Of course I will. Promise. Like I'd leave you hanging."
"Well, there was that one time on the monkey bars–"
"Oh shut up." James chuckled before hugging Susan first, tightly, before doing the same to Martin. After a moment, he finally stepped away and headed out, nodding to Timothy when he passed the older.
"Where's he going?" Timothy asked.
"The military needs him at Delaware Bay." Martin told him.
"Martin..." Timothy frowned, hesitating. "If Godzilla lands there..."
"...I know. But he promised he'd come back."
"If he survives the attack, you'd only have a set time limit to be with him."
Martin said nothing at that and Susan did her best to hold back her tears, taking a few, deep breaths.
"Would... Godzilla come to our state?" Susan finally asked.
"If Varan stays where he is, it's highly likely." Timothy explained truthfully. "I got in contact with our Governor. I pleaded with him to get the evacuations going just in case. To put it mildly, he wasn't too happy about it, but he eventually caved. He'll give the word within a few hours."
Martin simply nodded at the information, closing his eyes as he willed the tears that were threatening to leak out to stay back. Now was not the time for crying.
