[Y/N]'s POV:
"Are you coming tonight?" Jungkook asks, slipping out of his jacket. The tips of his black hair resemble the glistening dew from your front lawn this morning, and his skin is in a similar, dripping state.
It would be nice if you could look like a sex god after sweating for five hours too, but instead you look like a New York sewer rat.
You shrug and force your eyes away from those sculpted muscles and intricate tattoos. "I don't know yet. You know partying isn't really my thing."
Even after six months of being Jungkook's dance partner, you still aren't used to his presence. He's even become a close friend of yours over the last few months, but you're not sure if you'll ever forget how beautiful he is.
"Please come, [Y/N]," JK frowns, giving you that adorable pout you can't ever resist. He grabs your hands in his and squeezes, making your cheeks heat up.
You two just spent hours dancing and grinding on each other, and yet hand holding is where you decide to get flustered?
Something is wrong with you.
But dancing is work. Dancing is your job. Sweating and moving along with Jeon Jungkook's sculpted body is just another Tuesday for you.
Hand holding is not.
"I-I don't know," you stutter, avoiding his eyes and watching the others finish up their practice session. There's only 6 other people in the dance studio practicing this early in the morning. "The last time I went to a party you dragged me to, you left me alone and I got blackout drunk and ended up in the back of Taehyung's car."
Luckily nothing happened. You're a pretty boring drunk, which in your case, is a good thing since you're a lightweight. Apparently you spent most of the night walking around in silence, just listening to other conversations.
Drunk [Y/N] is quite nosy.
You still have no idea how you ended up being driven home by Taehyung though.
"I swear I won't leave you alone," Jungkook promises, releasing your hands and allowing you to breathe. "You can even invite Mia and Ji-eun."
That has your ears perking up. "Really?"
Mia is your roommate, an expat like yourself, and Ji-eun lives next door. Something nice about the company you work for is that they provide a stipend for your housing, rather than forcing you into a tiny studio apartment. You decided to stay with a host family in a house and got paired with another expat, Mia, and it was a coincidence that Ji-eun happens to be another dance instructor right on the other side of the fence.
The three of you have been inseparable since you arrived in South Korea last year. You guys tend to stick out everywhere you go since you're not typical citizens. You're from America and Mia is from India.
