Fleet of Remnant

Act 1: Chapter 2

{A/n: Hey everyone Teacher here with another chapter. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own RWBY!}

*Beacon Academy*

Beacon Academy, the Kingdom of Vale's Huntsmen academy that trains young adults into trained Huntsmen and Huntresses. The protectors of the people of Remnant however it was now being attacked by the Faunus group called the White Fang. The White Fang had launched a full scale attack on the City of Vale and Beacon Academy and have managed to overwhelm the city's defenders quite easily. Beacon Academy had also fallen and several students were fighting them off as well. A few students were even captured by the White Fang and brought to another part of the school. Among these captured students are Team RWBY. A Team of first year students which consisted of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. Among these captured students were also the Council of Vale the Kingdom of Vale's Leadership. 

Team RWBY were in utter shock by everything that's happened in the past several hours. "I hope Dad and Uncle Qrow are okay." Ruby said as she looked at the floor. She was very worried about her father and uncle and rightfully so. The White Fang were going around massacring everyone in sight. "I'm sure they're just fine Ruby." Yang said hugging her sister to comfort her. Weiss and Blake were also trying to comfort Ruby but before they could say anything a man entered the room they were being held in. To everyone in the room they've only ever seen the man on the news or never before but to Blake. Blake knew this man. She was once very close to him and even had feelings for him at one point. 

Blake gritted her teeth as she glared daggers at the man. "Adam! I should have known you'd be behind this atrocity!" Blake said surprising her teammates as Blake was usually quiet and well mannered but once she saw this man she grew angry and started to yell. He smiled at Blake and Blake felt shivers go down her spine from the sickly looking smile on his face. "Hello my dear. We have much to catch up on." Adam said in response and Blake tried not to show disgust on her face as he talked to her like that.

*Meanwhile*

Miles out at sea the NATO Coalition Fleet was preparing for battle. The ships in the Fleet have shifted positions to put the Carriers in the center along with the helicopter carriers. The Destroyers and Frigates took up positions along the outer edges of the Fleet and the USS New Jersey took up position towards the front to lead the way. On board the Carriers on the flight decks of the ships F-35 Fighter Jets were being launched into the air. While that was happening the Marines and other infantry were loading onto Helicopters and landing crafts to go into the city. American LCACs(Landing Craft Air Cushion) were being loaded with American M1A2 Abrams Main Battle tanks, German Leopard 2 Main Battle tanks, and British Challenger 3 Main Battle Tanks. Other then Tanks the LCACs were also being loaded with French VBCI Infantry Fighting Vehicles, German Puma Infantry Fighting Vehicles, and Italian Dardo Infantry Fighting Vehicles.

Besides these vehicles multiple Amphibious landing crafts were also being sent out. While the forces were preparing to go into the fight Admiral MacAlistar came over the radio. "Attention all NATO forces. This is Admiral MacAlistar. I want to say I greatly appreciate all of you making a stand against this senseless violence happening in the city. However I want to say that as far as we know this was all started because hatred for one another ran over the top." Admiral MacAlister said and everyone in the Coalition listened to him. "I know this attack would equate to a terrorist attack back home and that Terrorists are not covered by the Geneva convention but I ask you all to go by the Geneva Conventions Rules of Engagement. If they attack you shoot back. If they surrender take them prisoner. If they're injured give them proper medical attention. We do not need to spread more hatred!" Admiral MacAlistar said and every member of the Coalition nodded to each other all agreeing to abide by these RoE.

"With that. God Speed Gentlemen!" Admiral MacAlistar finished his speech and with that the NATO Fleet began their operations. The F-35s kicked off the battle by racing into the city's airspace and started working on gaining Air superiority over the entire city. The White Fang Pilots had no clue what was happening and even before they could realize what was going on the NATO Coalition F-35s have managed to down over 2/3s of the White Fang aircraft. It wasn't long after that that the air space over the city was solely occupied by the F-35s. "Skyeye this is Viking 1-1. The Airspace over the city is secured. You're clear to bring in the ground forces." An F-35 pilot reported to the Navy E-2C Hawkeye. "Roger that Viking 1-1. Attention all forces. Blue Sky is in effect. I Repeat Blue Sky is in effect!" The Radio man on the E-2C replied and with that the ground assault on Vale commenced.
