Fleet of Remnant

Act 1: Chapter 7

{A/n: Hey everyone Teacher here with another chapter. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own RWBY!}

*Kingdom of Vale, Vale City*

The NATO forces were pushing deeper into the city and the White Fang forces were falling apart. The White Fang had already lost Three quarters of their mechs they brought in for the attack as the NATO forces always targeted them first and took them out with either their own tanks or other anti Tank weapons which proved to be extremely effective against the Mechs. Plus the air superiority that the NATO Forces took away from the White Fang gave the NATO fighters free reign to hit every target the NATO ground forces needed to be knocked out. NATO Forces were quickly overwhelming the White Fang as they had barely any effective weapons against there armored vehicles and the ones that do were often quickly picked off by NATO marksmen. However the NATO forces push into the city was still slowed since they were prioritizing helping the civilians get to safety as much as possible. In fact there were even several instances of NATO forces running into burning buildings to help pull survivors out.

Currently one young US Marine Sergeant named Kira Steele was leading her squad to Vale Hospital. Survivors at the Field Hospital and Vale park had told NATO troops there that the White Fang have seized the hospital and are holding the doctors hostage. So several NATO infantry teams were tasked with securing the Hospital. Kira's squad approached the hospital and saw that it was surrounded by White Fang but they didn't do a good job of securing the area. There were several gaps in their defensive line but she was hesitant to exploit these gaps for fear it could be a lure people into a trap. Kira and her fellow troops contemplated their options while on the other side of the city at Beacon Academy. US Marines, Royal Marines, Australian Defence Force troops, and German SeeBattlion infantry were assisting the Students and Teachers of the Academy to retake the school.

While they were doing that Task Force 141 were assisting with the rescue of hostages in the Academy's Cafeteria. As they got close to the Cafeteria they could see through the windows of the cafeteria that a group of Faunus have taken the Council to safety in the back of the room and trying to protect them while also fighting off the White Fang. "Well that's unexpected." Ozpin said as he looked on the scene. "It might be unexpected but it puts the advantage in our favor. They won't be expecting us to hit them." Price replied and then motioned for his team to breach the door. Ozpin  was shocked to see just how quick the 141 were already stacked up on the door and then was stunned by a loud bang as the frame charge they put on the door exploded and before Ozpin could regain his bearings the 141 were already in the Cafeteria.

*Adam's POV*

My plan to destroy the Kingdom of Vale and create a Faunus only civilization in it's wake was almost complete but Yuki had to go and ruin it. She backstabbed me, turned against me and now both her and Blake were fighting against me. Yuki! I'll kill you for this! I thought as I slashed my sword at her. My sword made contact with her shoulder but she had covered her shoulder in Ice. What?! I thought in surprise only to be stabbed in the side by her halberd's spear tip. I coughed up blood and glared at Yuki through my mask and I was going to pull my sword out of her shoulder and stab her but the door to the Cafeteria was suddenly blown open and several strange soldiers rushed in and started making quick work of my men. If it wasn't for my Lieutenant who managed to get me away from Yuki and to safety I probably would have been killed as well. 

The Lieutenant got me into our emergency escape vehicle incase something similar to this happened and fortunately we managed to get away. But that didn't stop my anger and rage from all my plans going wrong. "Lieutenant!" I almost yelled out. "Yes sir?" He replied and I looked at him. "Tell the Blood Fang to move in! Tell them I want the Academy and the city burned to the ground!" I yelled out and the Lieutenant nodded and relayed my orders and the Blood Fang moved out. The Blood Fang are an off branch of the White Fang under my command. They are loyal only to me and have the same views as I do. They're also some of the best fighters under my command. They'll make quick work of these strange soldiers.

*Meanwhile*

The 141 were finishing securing the room. "Price a few escaped out the kitchen! Should we give chase?" Ghost asked as he kept his sights on the kitchen. "Negative! Our job is to get the HVIs to safety not chase stragglers." Price said and Ghost nodded. "Roger that sir." Ghost replied. Medics started tending to the injured and one rushed over to the girl in the red jacket wielding a halberd. "That's a nasty cut you got there. It needs to be treated now or you might bleed out." The Corpsman explained and the girl just nodded. The room was quiet now as people did their jobs however the quiet was interrupted by Soap's yelling. "Price! We got a problem!" He said as he was looking out the window. "What is it Soap?" Price said walking over only to see what looked like 300 to 600 White Fang with mechs and other ground vehicles approaching the Academy from the tree line. The reason Phantom and Judge didn't see them was due to them assisting another unit on the other side of the Academy with some White Fang using the Dorms and rooftops  to fire down onto the infantry.
