After saying his final goodbye, Niki turned his phone off as his eyes darted towards the rope on the other side of the room.
He contemplated taking his life, but decided against it. Of course he knew that he had loving friends that cared about him, but he was extremely heartbroken and couldn't suffer through the pain any longer.
Minutes felt like hours as he sat there staring into the abyss, negative thoughts clouding his mind as the voices attempted to persuade him to end it all.
Niki was struggling, so he immediately turned his phone back on and noticed 3 new messages from an unknown number. The heartbroken boy clicked on the notification and as he read the words, his heart rate increased.

Riki didn't know how to react. After months of waiting for a reply, it turns out he got a new number. For some reason, Riki was still upset by the fact that he disappeared and didn't tell anybody.
The Japanese boy waited a few minutes before responding back, unsure whether he should be excited, angry, or relieved he's okay.

Once Riki arrived at the airport, he waited a few minutes which sooner turned into an hour. Feeling disappointed, he was ready to turn back and go back home until a voice called out his name.
Riki's head turned in the direction where he saw Jake rushing towards him. Even though he should be excited, there was an uneasy feeling in his stomach.
"Hi hyung..." he mumbled, all the excitement in his voice fading. Jake frowned after hearing his tone. "Don't you miss me?"
A bitter smile was on Riki's lips as he just glanced at the ground. "I love you and all, but months without contact kinda hurt me and it's too late to fix it..."
Jake sighed and tried to pull the younger into a hug, but sadly got rejected. This wasn't want Jake was expecting, but to be fair, he understood why Riki was acting this way.
"You don't have to forgive me Riki... We can always have a fresh start. I'll heal your broken heart and make it stronger than before," Jake said, reaching out to gently hold Riki's hand.
Riki slowly nodded and sadly smiled at the other. "A heart that you broke. Oopsy, right?" he whispered jokingly.
"Oopsy indeed." Jake whispered back, interlocking their fingers as they exited the airport.
