Five Years Later...
Arianna was happy to announce the arrival of their daughter, Jezamine Reinhart. Bringing a healthy, happy baby girl into the world after being in labour for twenty-four hours.
Everyone in the Guild shared her happiness, all except for Caine, who was not so happy about the big announcement. Arianna knew he always wanted a son over a daughter. The man instantly distanced himself from the child and his wife, spending all his time with the other thieves and running the Guild instead.
Leaving Arianna to raise baby Jezamine on her own, which she thought was probably better for the child anyway. But she soon found she wasn't alone, receiving help from the other Guild members who fell in love with Jezamine, the baby loving all the attention and new faces she encountered. Digger grew attached to Jez, volunteering to look after her when Arianna needed to catch up on sleep.
Digger never got to experience becoming a father, losing his wife and child to miscarriage. Arianna trusted him with her daughter's life, knowing he would of made a great father and looked after his family.
Other than being married, raising a child, being a healer at both the Apothecary and the Guild, life couldn't be any better for Arianna. The woman always wanted to be a mother and have a daughter, loving every moment of parenthood.
The only thing that bothered her was how distant Caine has become in the past few months of pregnancy. Feeling more like a single mother although her partner lived under the same roof as her and their child. Maybe Arianna made the wrong choice five years ago when she fell in love and married the Leader of Thieves...

Caine was not impressed by the announcement and welcoming of his daughter, having high hopes for a son to take over the Guild and take his place one day. Now he was the father of an unwanted daughter, but he would still raise the child with Arianna. Still loving the woman as much as he did when they first met.
In just five years the Guild now homed sixty thieves and was fully operational and efficient. Caine was proud that his dream was now a full reality, but there was one thing he longed to own in his possession...
The Royal Jewels.
Now that all the thieves had their own positions in the Guild and their sources and supplies were at the ready whenever Caine said the word. Today was going to be the day he announced the mission and selected the best thief for the job. Caine would not rest until the precious gemstones were his, planning to steal the jewels from right under the Royal Family's noses.
Instead of celebrating the arrival of baby Jezamine, Caine retreated to the Meeting Room to thoroughly plot his plan to sneak a thief into the castle without being caught, he knew the exact person for the job to be completed successfully. Digger, the best thief in the entire Guild, second to Arianna.
The woman learnt how to steal valuables by becoming a true thief, Caine and the others teaching her every trick they knew. She picked up on things quickly, which impressed Caine who never thought a woman would out thieve a man. But he wouldn't send his wife or the mother of his child on the extravagant mission for the jewels. Not after barely being a first time mother for less than a week.
Digger never failed a job or returned empty handed, which is why Caine knew he was the best choice to send inside the castle for the job. He scribbled his plans down onto paper as the others celebrated, the man never took a break from his work. Greed and fortune slowly took over his every thought and desire...

Arianna watched as Caine disappeared into the small room with a look on his face she knew all too well - he had plans to plot and devise, and he wouldn't rest until it was finished and the plans were flawless.
