The Prisoner Boy

The Sakusa clan has always had power over a section of Japan. A big one at that.

They are the longest reigning mafia Yakuza known to Japan, first starting in the Edo period (~1620).

Because they are so powerful, people very scared of them, including the government

If they don't like who's in poetry, the government will quickly change it as to not get on the Sakusa's bad side

Some information about the Sakusa clan:
-The Yakuza head MUST have a son to take his place (They are still very misogynistic, but not homophobic)

-Each head rules for 45 years. The only exception is if the next head is still under the age of 20

-The Yakuza head can marry whoever he wants, no matter gender/sex. Those who question it are killed, besides immediate family

Now we fast forward to the 9th head's ruling and his son, the 10th head (it's 2003)

Rei Sakusa is the 9th head of the Sakusa Yakuza and his son, Kiyoomi, will be the 10th head. Once Kiyoomi turns 20, he will take over the group.

Rei is very proud of how he handled the clan and he hopes his son can handled it

Kiyoomi is a 7 year old boy. He lives with his father and the people who work under his father, who will eventually work under him. He's an only child, and his father is out a lot, so he gets lonely very easily.

He gets bored too. All he does is study, read, practice for becoming the next head, and sometimes watches TV or plays video games.

But all that changes when he meets a boy who is a prisoner of the clan.

The Miyas are not a high-ranking family, but not a low one either. They're right in the middle. The family consists of a father, mother and twin boys, Atsumu and Osamu. Atsumu being the older one.

The father's father (the twins grandfather) borrowed money from the Sakusa clan and didn't pay it back. The parents honestly thought that they wouldn't have to pay because they were not associated with his father.

A foolish thought that was…

The Sakusa raided their home and forced them to pay the money back, or they would take one of their sons.

The parents quickly paid, but the clan still took one of the boys, claiming interest. And there was nothing the parents could do because they weren't strong enough, and the police were too afraid of the clan.

The son they took was Atsumu.

This is how the boy became a prisoner. All because of his grandfather's actions, who he didn't even know, action.

One day, he meets the head's son, who changes his life forever.

Kiyoomi woke up as the light hit his face. He sat up and rubbed his eyes before getting out of bed. He showered and got dressed before heading downstairs.

"Daddy?" He called out but he didn't see his father.

He walked around his house, but didn't find him anywhere.

'He has to be in the basement.' He thought.

He heads down to the basement. He's not actually allowed in the basement, but he needs his dad because he wants to know if he can watch TV until breakfast is made.
