This past week has been an emotional roller coaster for me. Recently I think of all the good memories and love the fake agent gave me, and it's awful to think about. Who was my real mother? What was she like? When I find her will she like me? Or hate me? All these thoughts racing in my head, toying with me. I try to think about the growing relationship me and my dad have now, and with my brother. The memories and relationships are too new to have them comfort me. Maybe God gave me these powers for a reason. To find my mother and have growing relationships, for new people to love me and be there for me. Lord knows I can't take this journey on my own. Im excited that I have these new people in my life. I know we'll find my mother, we have to. I deserve it, I want to know her. Hopefully we'll find her soon enough.
Dad called me in, he wanted to review what our plan was to get Mom. He says she was captured when I was born, and the facility is located in Seattle, Washington. Problem is: we're in Alabama. Dad said while we drive there, we could work together to help me control my powers, and teach me tricks and mystical stuff like that. I didn't know to feel excited or scared about that. I guess we'll find out when it's time for that. I asked Dad more about the facility and why the agent trying to capture us was special. He told me "The agency is called the Department of Paranormal Protection, also known as the DPP. They capture people like you and me, brainwash the ones they feel 'doable' and train them to fight for them. The detainees there hate it, and no one knows how the ones picked are willingly working for them to capture others. The leader stays rogue, he's/she's a mystery. In the facility, they have machines that detain your powers. It's very advanced technology. Your mother is there because of her sacrifice. She saved us, fought them off to keep me and you safe. She's very powerful. She could've beaten them, but you were more important to her. Last I saw her she was being dragged away. I never forgot the day. We need to be safe, but get there soon as we can. The DPP was probably put on high alert, because of the stunts we've been pulling off. Pack your bags. We leave tomorrow morning. All that information was overwhelming. It sounds like my mom is a good person. This assured me that I need to find her. I asked Dad "What is her power?"
"Telekinesis."
The next day came, and we were all ready to leave. We left at about 7 in the morning. I've never been in a car so much in my life. My butt hurt so much. I'm not the biggest fan of cars, but I wasn't going to complain. It was hard to keep my inside from showing on the outside; as in my powers physical looks that show on me. My eyes turned the same neon blue color, arms baby blue color, frost radiating off my hands. My body was pale due to the effects. It was going to be hard to stay anonymous throughout the states we traveled through. We had to buy gloves and a jacket, and sunglasses. I looked ridiculous. But I mean I guess it'll do. We arrived in Mississippi, and it was so hot in my cover clothes. It sucked that it happened to be summer. But that's my luck. We found a hotel and crashed there. I woke up to Dad shaking me and shaking me. Startled, we looked out the window to see DPP soldiers surrounding the hotel. And with banging on the door: it was action time once again.
