We lived in a small town in Yorktown, Virginia. After the incident, my mom took us as far away from our neighborhood as she could. She took us to a small town in Georgia. I had no idea where we were, but she just told me to trust her, so I did. We stepped out of the car, and rang the doorbell. As the door opened, I saw a man and a teenage boy. My mom gave the man a look, and just walked in. He looked at me like I meant something to him. He walked up to me, and said "Hello son."
After realizing you blew up your house, froze about a dozen people, then finding your dad and brother, all in one day can make a 15 year old boy have a literal heart attack. In my case, my heart would probably have frozen over.
He then walked up to me and hugged me, a total stranger in my life. I was starting to feel like something was up. Was my mom doing things behind my back? After he hugged me, his arms were getting frostbites, and once again I thought we'd be on the run, but oh I was so wrong.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me aside and said "That's not your mother. We need to leave now." I was shocked once again. I grew up with her, she raised me, and now a total stranger was saying she's not my mom? My life was just getting worse and worse as the days went by. I asked him to prove he was my biological father, and he opened his hand and fire shot out of his arm. Fire. I then knew everything was true he was telling me. He told me to stay where I was, and that he needed to grab my brother, and we would leave immediately.
He got my older brother, and just as we were walking out the door my "mom" stopped us. She asked where we were going. My dad said "Getting away from you. You thought you could trick this boy into believing you were his mother. Why? What did you really do to my wife?" I was shocked, but she just smirked. My dad said to run, so me and my brother did. As I looked back, I saw them fighting. I knew I had to help. I said to my brother "Go into the car, and stay tight! I'm going to help."
I ran into the house to see everyone either broken or burnt, and I heard screaming and flames in the living room. I ran into there, and saw sue pinned my dad down to the ground. She was punching him. I yelled "Hey!" and I formed a shard of ice and threw it at her. It pierced her face, cutting it open. But she simply regenerated. I didn't know what to do. All of this ice was coming from instinct. Whoever this lady was appearing to be, she was trained in combat. She ran at me and I stomped on the floor and froze it, and it froze only her legs. She was stuck. I went over to my father and helped him up, and we manipulated fire to form around us and in a flash we were in the car. He drove away as far as he could. He told me "We have some catching up to do, Evan."
