"Not all those who wander are lost."

Home is a beautiful place isn't it?

Moving into a new home can be an exciting and nerve-wracking experience, especially when it involves meeting new people.

For Jessie,
a young girl who recently lost her parents,
this move meant starting a new life with a family she had never met before - the Walters.

Little did she know,
this move would also introduce her to a new friend.

Alex.

Jessie had always been a reserved and introverted girl.

the thought of living with a new family was daunting.

She had lost her parents in a tragic accident and had no other relatives to turn to.

The Walters,
who were close family friends of Jessie's parents, had offered to take her in and she had no choice but to accept their kind gesture.

Jackie on the other hand she was angry she wanted to stay with her uncle but instead of that she had to follow what her parents had decided before they're passing which meant she was now living in a house full of boys.

whom she didn't know and had to go to a school that would knock down her chances of getting into Princeton University.

Jessie's pov:

The house was beautiful.

It was a large two story farm house that sat in the middle of fields and trees it was a sight to see.

I climbed out of the car and scanned my surroundings fields and trees for miles and miles as far as the eye could see.

Horses scattered across the fields and a large barn sat just a brisk walk away from the house.

I was really going to love it here.

"Do you need any help with the bags George?"

I said looking at the poor man trying to figure out how he'd get them all in one go.

"No no it's fine I'll manage just make your way inside kiddo"

he said whilst trying to lift them all out of the car.

I giggled and walked towards the porch Jackie whom must of gotten out the car whilst I was talking to George followed steps behind.

I walked up the steps only to jump back,
avoiding a skateboard and an idiot riding it.

"Move"
he said in a cold manner
Safe to say I wasn't impressed.

Glaring him down as he continued on skating round the porch before disappearing.

"Hey I'm Danny"

a voice called beckoning me out of my thoughts I turned my head to see a boy slumped in a chair reading.

"Hi I'm Jessie"
