Two weeks after Yoonmin's honeymoon, Yoongi sat on the bed with a nervous expression. Anyone could tell how anxious the elder was. He continuously tapped his foot on the floor while biting his lips, looking like he was waiting for someone.
He came out of his thoughts when he heard the slight sound of the door opening. Jimin emerged from the bathroom with the same nervous expression as Yoongi.
Yoongi stood up hurriedly and quickly walked toward Jimin.
Yoongi: Jimin.
Jimin: Hyung.
The younger raised his chin to look at Yoongi. Yoongi's heartbeat wasn't normal.
Yoongi: What happened, Jimin?
Jimin: H-hyung, I-I checked twice, and it's showing.
Yoongi: ?
Jimin: Positive! (smile)
Jimin smiled widely. It seemed he had given Yoongi a little heart attack earlier with his sad expression, making Yoongi think it was negative.
Yoongi hugged Jimin tightly, lifting him off the ground.
Yoongi: Thank you, Jimin. Thank you so much!
Jimin giggled.
Jimin: Congratulations, Hyung! We're going to be parents! I can't believe it.
Yoongi gently set Jimin down.
Jimin noticed Yoongi's tears and became worried.
Jimin: What happened, Hyung? Please sit down.
They sat on the bed, and Jimin cupped Yoongi's face.
Jimin: Tell me, something happened? Why are you crying?
Yoongi: It's happy tears, Jimin. I can't believe someone will call me dad soon. I'm still in a dream. I'll be a father. (teary eyes)
Yoongi: Promise me you'll always take care of them and yourself. You both are more precious than anything.
Jimin smiled.
Jimin: Is that even a question, Mr?
They wiped each other's tears.
Yoongi cupped Jimin's face.
Yoongi: You know, Jimin, before you, I never believed in love or imagined having a family with someone. It's all so different for me; I just imagine holding those tiny hands for the first time, hearing them call me dad. (teary eyes)
