She was happy, and she knew it
He knew it.
But she also knew something was missing
She knew she could be more
So much more
But before that realization
Before Him
It was calm.
She didn't know he was there yet,
And so,
The thought wasn't as grinding
She wasn't aware yet, and all was well.
It was enjoyable.
There wasn't much more story to it,
Yes the emotions did dwell,
But before the Awareness it was bright,
Sunny,
Warm,
Nice.
It was a moment He recalled on so so much.
It was why he loved it.
Yearned for it even,
Yearning for a time when the happiness wasn't accounted for in minute forms.
It wasn't a need.
It was a had
It was a given.
She had it, and He didn't.
And yet,
Still,
Like the ones who had called before Him in acting the ways he did,
He hated her for it.
If only he had her place, maybe things would've been better,
They would've been fixed
