AUTUMN
This morning was the same as any other for autumn, wake up, shower, coffee run and wait for jade to get to her house and hang out for the day, Theo was out of town for the week so she was just hanging around jade for the next couple of days.
Jade made her way into her friends home, petting the calico cat that rubbed up against her feet, setting her tote-bag and jacket on the coat rack, and walking into the living room where Autumn was sitting.
Autumn had the weird habit of sitting cross-legged on the floor while sipping her coffee and scrolling through her phone, Jade sat down next to her with a matcha in hand and spoke up,
"So...you know how I've been working along other journalist and trying to get into the F1 scene"
"Mhm Jade, you've been talking non-stop about it" Autumn replied not looking up from the phone in her hand.
"Well, I've been wondering if you could pull some strings for me, you know, since you are Verstappen's sister after all"
"Jade, I've told you many times, i don't do the whole formula 1 thing"
"Come onnnnn, Nick, i really need to talk to sky sports and get an internship with them"
"I don't know Jade, i haven't really talked to Max in a while, i'll try and text him to see what he can do, anyways, what are we eating, i'm starving"
"Okay okay, thank you for trying aaaand, i don't know, wanna doordash something"
Autumn just nodded in response, putting her phone down and getting up to put her coffee cup in the sink to wash later.
As Jade decided what they were going to eat, the other girl took a shower, and got ready for the day.
After Autumn got ready Jade called her to get out from her room because the food had gotten to the girl's house.
As the girl's ate and conversed Autumn couldn't stop thinking on what she could write to her brother after not talking to him for months.
After eating and talking for a while the girls decided to clean up the apartment a bit and head out to the shops,The two got an incoming face-time from their friend Theo, who was currently in LA signing a deal with a record label,which he was really excited for.
"Wassup Nick" Theo shouted over the screen, Autumn looked around being embarrassed by her friends antics .
"Hey Theo" Jade pitched in.
"Oh hey JJ, girls you're not ready for the news, so I got the deal with the label,and they gave me three tickets to the Monaco grand prix that's coming up"
"Oh nonono, Theo we can't go, come on,you know I don't do the whole F1 scene, plus, I don't even understand the sport, why would i go" Autumn just rolled her eyes ,Jade on the other hand was excited thinking of all of the opportunities that she could have going to the race.
"Come on Nick, it can't be that bad, don't over think it,maybe you could just talk to your brother and try to enjoy something for once" Jade told the blonde next to her .
"I'll think about it"
Autumn and Jade said their goodbyes after chatting for a bit with their friend and headed back to shopping.
Autumn really thought about the offer her best friend made to her, thinking about how she can see her brother after god knows how long, but she knew that if she didn't go she would be missing out on Jades big opportunity of getting an internship in her dream company.
"Fuck it, I'm going" Autumn whispered to herself
