Miami Grand Prix, Race day, starting from 8th on the grid was not the plan for Lando, He knew from the moment he got into that car that this was going to be a difficult race, But dnf-ing was definitely, not the race finish he was looking for.

"FUCKKKKKKK" Lando yelled while kicking the tire of his car

"okay Lando, make your way back to the paddock please"Will spoke through the radio

Lando made his way back to the paddock in disappointment, as he saw his team mate Daniel Ricciardo  fishish the race in 13th, disappointed that mclaren didn't score points for the constructors championship.

Miami 2022, was not the race anyone was looking for, the celebration was salty for Lando, Verstappen won his 3rd race that season , Lando was happy for him, he was his friend and all, the only thing he wished was for him to get that win one day.

Making his way back to his hotel, taking a shower, and getting dressed for the rest of his day in Miami.

As Lando made his way out of the hotel he spotted Max talking on the phone, walking towards Lando,  the brit sent a quick text to his mother letting her know that he was okay .

"Who were you talking to?" Lando asked his friend

"Oh uhm, that was just my sister, she's going to the monaco GP and her best friend is a journalist, so we're trying to get her an internship with sky" the Dutch answered

the brit thought it was victoria and just nooded at the Dutch and they made their way out of the hotel meeting up with Alex and George for a game of paddle as they liked the competition.

Lando and George on one end of the court, Max and Alex on the other side, their match was intense and competitive, as of every other activity they did together.

Max and Alex ended up winning,Lando  and George congratulated the pair and went to get lunch and drinks.

At the restaurant they talked about the upcoming races and the plans they had for the next summer break.

"I'm thinking about spending some time in mexico with Carmen over the summer, but you're completely welcome to come with us if you want" George told the group in a sweet voice

"I'll pass i'm visiting my family over the summer, my mum wants me to stay some days back home" Lando expressed while shoving some food in his mouth

"Oh i'll tell lily, i think she will love to go"
Alex picked his phone up and sent a quick message to lily about it

"Let me go to the restroom, we'll continue talking about summer when i get back" Max said getting up from the table and making his way to the restaurants restroom

The three continued talking when they heard a phone ringing, it was Max's it read the name "Nicole" on the screen, the group did not know what to do with it until Lando picked it up and answered.

"Hello?" he said in his british accent

"Hey Max, sorry to bother you again, but i need to know where you made the reservation for our hotel" Nicole sounded confused on the other side of the call

"Oh sorry, i'm Lando, max went to the restroom, but i can ask him when he gets back"

"Oh uhh yeah that's okay, just tell him to text me the details as soon as he can, thank you"

"No worries, bye now"

"Bye" that was the last thing the girl on the other end said before hanging up

Lando confused asked the guys if they knew a nicole, the two others responded with "no's" and "it doesn't ring a bell" The green eyed brit set Max's phone back on the table.
