Chapter 8

Rosa's P.O.V

I woke up in the strange area again. It was all silent. That is until I felt a slight wind against my hair. When I turned around however, I noticed a pair of purple eyes that looked like swirls appear before me. I gasped in fright and I then heard a low tone of voice that sounded familiar somehow. "Don't be afraid my dearest Rosa. It's only me." I blinked and seeing the figure slowly show itself. "S-Springtrap?" He walks up to me with a smile that isn't the usual friendly smile he would show. It was....menacing. "Yes my dear. It's me." I noticed his fur was more fluffed, claws and sharp teeth showing from the light, and wires popping out of his back like tentacles from a squid. I also did noticed his fur was stained in blood. "What happened to you?....I-" Springtrap shushed me and spoke. "Hush now my darling Rosa. Come with me. I have something to show you." He motions me to follow him. So I did despite my inner feelings slowly turning to fear. Soon, we got to where he wanted to take me, and the door shut abruptly as I walked in. Suddenly, candles started to light up and as everything became clear, I saw a bed covered in Rose petals. "Wh-what is all this?" I gasped as springtrap appeared beside me. "for us." I was confused what he meant. "What do you mean us?" He turned to me as his menacing smile curled wider almost like a Cheshire Cat. "Our future together. You may not remember now, but you will see what I mean as your mind spirals your memories back. It will take time...." He caresses my shoulder and he whispers in my ear. "We can be together for all of eternity my love. I can make you happy..." I started to become uneasy, and I backed away. "I...I never expected all this so quickly....I don't think I can-" suddenly, he gotten close to my face like he has teleported within a second. He cackled as he cornered me against a wall. "don't be so brash about it! I may be a little....psychotic, but that doesn't mean I can't have what I want!" I started to become afraid as I try to get away from him. "Springtrap please! I don't know what you mean by all this! This isn't right!" He stared at me and then he laughed. "It's not right you say? You will soon understand that you are MINE! And no one can stop me!" He suddenly puts me on a choke hold, takes out a knife, and stabs me as I screamed. That is when I woke up in fright. Breathing heavily again. I see springtrap jerk himself up awake in fright as well. He looks at me concerned. "Rosa! Hey! It's okay! I'm here!" I then accidently pushed him off me as he falls off the bed, and I put my hand on my chest and gasped. "Oh god! Springtrap!" I went to his aid and apologized. "I am so sorry! It's just-" he stopped me by holding my hand. "It's alright Rosa. You probably had a nightmare again." I sighed and nodded. "I was afraid. You were saying a lot of nonsense and....I-....You-...." He cupped my face with his hands and looked at me with reassurance. "You don't have to tell me about it Rosa....do you really think I would ever hurt someone like you?" I slowly shook my head, and he hugged me. "Nightmares can't hurt you....as long as I'm with you, I will always protect you." I softly smiled and hugged him back. He soon pulled away and spoke to me softly. "How about I make ya some pancakes. That should help you get that horrible nightmare off your mind set." I nodded and got up. "Thank you springtrap. That is very sweet of you." I then told him I had to get dressed, so I quickly went to my room to refresh myself.

Springtrap's P.O.V

After Rosa left my bedroom, I groaned. I got up and mumbled at myself. That is when Matthew, the ghost child that was the brat compared to the other missing kids spoke to me. "Oh how different. You are acting nice again aren't you? Just to get close to her." I didn't turn around as I heard him speak. "Me?...act? It was more genuine than you believe!" Matthew floated towards me. "Both you and her may be connected because of the past. But that doesn't make you a good guy. And as for those blueprints you have found at that parts and service room, we know what you are planning springtrap. We can see it deep within you. Don't lie to us springtrap." I growled as the brat smirked. "Shut up! I always HATED this rotten body! Getting upgrades would not only impress MY beloved Rosa! But it's so it can help me Move on from my past actions! It will make a new beginning for me! For US even!" Matthew stayed silent and he then spoke moments later. "your story will never end on a good note. Your cycle of hell is a never ending maze. You're on your own if you want to prove you are willing to change. Don't ever cry for us for any help to win Her heart for you if you fail. Her fate rests within your hands..." soon he disappeared. I sat down, I was starting to think if Rosa would hate me if I told the truth to her. If I did, what if it triggers her memories? I don't want her to hate me. I am hoping she would love me the same. Just then, Rosa came back with a pink sweater and a pair of comfy pants. "I was waiting for you downstairs." I turned around and looked at her. "Y-yeah. I'll be down soon. Just give me a moment." She looks at me concerned and walks up to me as she knelt down at my level. "You seemed troubled. Is everything alright?" I looked down and then back at her. "Rosa....can I ask you something?" Her ears perked up. "Yes. You may ask. What is it?" I rubbed the back of my head, and I sighed. "would you...hate me....if I was evil?...." I noticed she stared at me and then she looked down as she softly rubs her arm. 'I-...I don't know....but I know you're not evil at all. you seem so...sweet." I looked at her as my eyes slightly widened. "you....really mean that?" Rosa nodded and she suddenly holds my hand. "yes. I never met an animatronic that is sentient like me. you do want to feel happy. and I'm always here for you." I smiled and I wanted to kiss her, but I didn't want to be so creepy about it. we locked eyes and she blushed. suddenly, Zachary called to me at the Parts and service room. I am starting to know what it is. it's the upgrades he wants to talk about from the blueprints I found. I hope the upgrades won't fail me if it is the case.
