Tom's POV

Tom stood waiting for his mates in Daggerclaw's office. Daggerclaw had been his account manager for many years and Tom considered him not only an ally but a friend. He knew he would help his little mate as well as help further their plans to bring down the old man. He heard the roar of the flames and saw Harry clinging to Severus as they stepped out. With a wave of his hand the soot was cleared from them both.

Harry looked a little nauseous but not as bad as he expected. "Was traveling with someone better than your previous experiences?" Harry looked up with a small smile and a blush. "Yes much better". He then put out his arm for Harry to take and led him to the chairs in front of the large desk. Once both his mates were seated he sat as well. Encasing Harry between them and giving him a reassuring pat on his leg.

Just then the door opened and in walked Daggerclaw. He looked up in surprise but hid it quickly upon seeing Harry. He set his battle axe down on a stand by the door and moved to his desk. Taking out several pieces of parchment he cleared his throat and inclined his head.

"Lord Riddle and Lord Prince-Riddle greetings to you both from the goblin nation, may our meeting be one of prosperity" Tom and severus both bowed slightly from their seats and spoke as one "Warrior Daggerclaw may your enemies fall at your blade and your gold run over". At this Daggerclaw grinned and Tom saw Harry looking confused.

Tom turned to his little mate and smiled. "I am sure the old coot never explained greetings or etiquette with the goblins but we should always show respect to those that hold our money they are one of our strongest allies. I will help to teach you this once everything is settled. Severus and I will teach you many things about our culture and those of the other beings we live amongst." Harry looked taken aback and then relieved. In a small voice he thanked Tom and then a little more confidently and with a slight bow he looked to Daggerclaw and said "Sir Daggerclaw I apologize for any slight to your ways I am sadly ignorant to proper greetings and will do my best in the future to learn as not to repeat my mistake" Daggerclaw burst out laughing at this and reached to shake Harry's hand. Harry held himself still as he tentatively reached his hand out to shake the goblins. Tom was so proud of his little mate for pushing past his fear.

Daggerclaw sat back down and began "Now that the formalities are out of the way. Tom, Severus it is good to see you both and Mr. Potter a pleasure to meet you. Now gentleman I am a bit surprised to see young Harry here with you. What can we do for you today?" "We are in need of an inheritance test and a healer for Harry as I stated in my letter. We believe the old fraud has manipulated Harry much the way he did to us." Tom stated. "That would not surprise me at all. Harry do you know who your account manager is? Have you not received any of the letters the nation has sent you over the past several years? You should have had an inheritance test last year but you never showed up" "Sir..." "Daggerclaw is fine" "Daggerclaw I have never received any correspondence from the nation nor do I know my account manager. I have never even had the key to my vault, Hagrid had it in my first year and after that Mrs Weasley always got money for me so I would assume her or the headmaster have it" Harry seemed to curl in on him self as he spoke. Daggerclaw seemed to notice as well and spoke softer. Well it seems like someone has been meddling and we will get to the bottom of it. He pressed a button on his desk and a small goblin came in. Riphook please get me Mr. Potters account manager and send for the head healer let her know we will need her in about 30 minutes. With that the smaller goblin scurried out.
