Becky's pov
I went to the academy with my baby. While listening to class she was holding my hand. And I loved the way she holds my hands.
When we got a break we all gathered and talked about the teachers. They were all gossiping. And Heidi was flirting with me. Gosh this girl when will she stop.
While talking they changed the topic from teachers to love. And they were saying so much bullshit. I didn't even mind them.
Suddenly "Becky do you believe in love" Heidi asked.
"I don't, it's just a waste of time and energy. Love is just some words nothing more for me" I said. Everyone was looking at me
"Wait but you do date right" Naw asked me
"Yeah I do, what's the big deal" I said
"So you don't do love but you like to date " Cee asked
"Yeah" i simply said
While they were asking Freen was looking at me. And she seemed a little bit sad. I got a call from irin. So i went down to take the call.
When I came back I went near Freen and sat down. I placed my hand above her hand and squeezed it. She looked at me and smiled. But her smile is not so bright.
Ff...
After 2 hours. Our class ended and we went outside. While walking Freen was distant with me. What did I do wrong now.
Naw asked if Freen has a lover and she said no. I was a little hurt but I don't want to dwell on that. Cause I'm not her lover we are just dating.
When we reached our bus stop. Freen and I was left. I took her hands and intertwined it.
"Baby, penny for your thoughts" i asked
"Nothing babe" she said.
When I was going to ask her further her bus came and she went. And I also went to my home.
Freen's pov
When Becky said she don't believe in love I was hurt a lot. Cause I was falling in love with her and she doesn't even believe in the concept.
When she went to take the call.
"The rumours are true then" Naw said
"What rumours" Jim asked
"She's a total package, everyone in our school has a crush on her and her best friend. But they don't show any interest. Becky is a little bit player and a ice queen. She dated some people and dumb them before a month." Naw said
"And only have one night stands and she only dates people who she intrested in physically" cee added
My heart broke. She already told me about this. And I know. But hearing it again when im falling in love with her feels different and hurt.
"Then why isn't she giving me a chance" Heidi asked
"I Dont know, maybe you are not her type" Naw said and they all laughed.
Then Becky entered. She sat beside me.
After class we all went outside together. I didn't go near Becky. I was still hurt. And I don't even know what to talk to her.
"Do you have a lover freen" Naw asked suddenly
"No, i don't" I said and smiled.
They were talking non stop and we reached bus stop. When me and Becky was alone she came near me asked what I was thinking I said "nothing" . She was about to ask more when my bus arrived. I said bye to her and went home
After reaching home. My mind was thinking about what happened in the academy. Despite everything my mind was repeating her words... she doesn't believe in love.
I don't know what am I gonna do. I was feeling helpless.
After some thinking. I decided not to confess about my love.
She said I'm special, I wanna believe her badly. Maybe I'm not the one. Maybe it's for the best. But I want to cherish every moment with her even it will be for a month. I want to be with her.
I drifted to sleep after some time.
Becky's pov
Freen seemed distanced and she didn't text me back. I was getting worried.
When the morning came I went to academy and she was there. Everything was back to normal. She was talking like nothing happened. I was happy.
I do wanna ask about yesterday but I don't wanna change her mood so i let it slide.
