"So the salon we always go to is this one behind a resturaunt," Claire informs me.

"It's a lot less crowded and they do amazing," Brinkley adds.

"The one Lane and I always went to was that one in the mall, sometimes we had to researve a week in advance." I let them know sighing as I remember the one time me and Lane had o negotiate a day with them.

"We're here," Brinkley parks the car and we all unbuckle filing in.

"Hello girls! Usual mani-pedis? I see you've brought someone new as-well!" A kind lady comes over to us smiling.

"I'm Caroline."

...

"Since when did you start coming to school with Emily?" Brinkley asks me as Emily and I both walk to our first periods.

"Oh she offered to take me yesterday and lives close by so," I shrug. We both go to set our stuff down and today the guys are already there. Might I add red is defiantly Ryder's color.

"I swear if you and my sister have one more conversation about nails..." Alex blows shaking his head at me reminding me. "They're just so cute! Look!" I show him again and he rolls his eyes I then proceed to show Ryder, "I got crimson red and Emily got Emerald green so we could match our names!" I grin at him as he raises an eyebrow amused. "If you don't compliment them, both her and my sister when she shows you, it will, never, end. Trust me I've learned from my mistakes," Alex warns.

"Reds definitely your color," Ryder tells me making me smile wider. "Thanks, speaking of which, its also yours." I reply referring to the shirt hes wearing.

...

"I meant to ask you guys yesterday, did anyone else get any weird calls over the weekend?" Ryder asks sitting down with all of us in the same spot as yesterday, and with that Brinkley spits out her drink.

"Oh my God I did too!" Mattias adds.

"Brinkley..." Ryder starts staring at her, Oh God knows Brinkley can't lie under pressure.

"It was us!" she breaths out fast after holding her breath trying not to tell, "Brinkley!" me and Emily sigh simultaneously.

"Wait wait so who did who?" Alex asks. "I called Matty pretending to be Samantha," She grins at Mattias and I look over to see him glaring at her, "I almost changed my number again."

"And who called me," Ryder asks, "that would be me," I grin back at him giving a little wave.

"And I think it was prettyyyyy good." I add.

"Yea Yea Ex wife from Australia," He rolls his eyes, now its Justin's turn to spit out his drink.

"hold up your telling me, she pretunded to be a fudging Ex wife from Austrailia? And you believed that crap?" Mattias busts out laughing and Ryder throws a french fry at him. "I had a name too, Margot." I say the name making a little name plate with my hands i the air.

"Do the accent!" Emily says with a smile, "ok ok"

I clear my chest and turn to Ryder receiving a glare, "Oh Ry is that you! Its me, Margot!"

Everyone starts laughing, I can even see a whisper of a laugh from Ryder.

"Hey C could I talk to you for a sec?" Of course here comes Tyson ready to ruin the moment.

"no thanks I'm fine here," I reply not even looking at him only down at my food.

"look Caroline if I could just talk to you for a se-" "She said no so leave her alone Donut head," Ryder interrupts him protecting me. "I wasn't talking to you Ryder,"

"And Caroline wasn't talking to you, so buzz off."

After that Tyson sighs leaving.

Donut head? I mentally snicker.

"Thank you," I look up at Ryder slightly,  "Like I said yesterday, anytime, I hate him anyways."

I throw my head back with a little laugh at the last part.

"What happened with you two anyways?" "Ryder." Brinkley warns him.

I sigh, "no it's okay, Everyone's starting to find out anyways by the pitty looks I've been getting." I look at my water strring it around in the cup, "he just cheated on me with Lane." With that I feel his eyes staring straight at me, "he did what?"

"please don't make me repeat it," I sigh.

"God I always knew he was an idiot, I told you to warn her about him brinks," he rubs a hand over his face. I furrow my eyebrows looking at Brinkley, she sighs.

"When he found out you said yes to him asking you on a date, He told me to warn you about him and how he'd cheated before a few years back."

"oh," that's all I can muster to say before the ring of the lunch dismissal bell. I get up ready to go to fourth.

I get in and make eye contact with Tyson before sitting in my new seat with Ryder,

That's when it hits me.

the best idea I've had ever.

I mean this idea, is absolutely genius.

I turn to Ryder whispering, "I just had the best idea, ever."

"Oh gosh something bad always happens when you say that," he responds back whispering as well. "Hey! noooo," I grunt.

"Sticky note car, the playground hair salon  in fifth grade," "That hair salon was fun!" I defend.

"Fun for you and the hairstylists, not fun for Beckys finger," I snicker remembering what happened, its not that she got hurt was funny, its how it happened.

"Okay but don't you want to hear my idea?" I dont wait for him to respond, "see, you'd say we're friends right?"

"sure," he answers slowly.

"You hate Tysons Guts, I hate Tysons guts..."

"even more sure."

"Lane likes you, I hate Lane,"

"Triple sure."

"and- wait you knew?" I ask shocked he knows about Lanes crush. "It was so obvious, she was always being weird," he shrugs making me snicker a bit.

"Anyways, you help me get the biggest revenge on both of them, while you also get revenge on Tyson!" I finish.

"And why and how would we do that?"

"He was my Ex and he was your Ex best friend, see where I'm going with this?"

I look directly at him meeting his big brown eyes, "Not rea-"

"We date!...Fake date of-course." I lean back in my chair with a grin.

"Fake dating? you and me?" this time he looks directly back at me.

"yea, only till Tyson gets crushed," I smile.

"Won't that be a little...weird? I mean we've know eachother for years."

"nope I mean, it'd be just like if we really dated which wouldn't be weird neccisrily and it'd be even easier because everything would be fake."

"Okay...I'll do it, but I need one more thing out of this..." he thinks.

"you name it."

Thats when it clicks for him, "you have to be my date to my moms fancy work parties, its so boring full of adults none of my friends ever want to go and she makes me go, now you, come with me."

"You got it, I'm good with adults and great company," I wink with a laugh joking making him roll his eyes.

"but we need to actually plan this better if we're really doing this," I add.

"today me and Alex are hanging but you could just come to my place tomorrow," He tells me and I agree.
