"Wo chah rahy hain jab hum kahien tab wo shadi ki date rakhien."

"Wo to thek hai, lekn rasmon ky sath shadi ka to humny Socha hi nahi tha Karan."

"Han lekn karni to hai na."

This had to happen one day. She's also a mother that of only child. I can understand, she has some dreams of her child's marriage, she must have to face people too.

"Tum Kya kehty ho?" I asked his opinion.

"Yar abhi kesy ho sakti hai? Humari studies bhi complete nahi hui Hain."

"Han..."

I don't know what to say.

"Mai to kehta hon Jaldi ho hi jaye shadi, sabko pata chal jayega ky Tum sirf Meri ho. Atleast Meri biwi ky liye mery hi samny koi rishta to nahi ly kar ayega na."

I laughed at this.

"Yar tumhari Jo shakal ban gaie thi na...hayeee." I laughed.

He stared me with a stern face and I controlled my laughter.

"Itny Pyar sy nahi Dekho."

"Tum jis bat py Hans rahi ho na wo bat achi nahi lagti mujhy lekn Tum hansty huay bht achi lagti ho."

I smiled. I know that proposal made him angry and jealous but he's not angry on me, ofc.

"Waisy Karan, shadi ka mai Kya kehti hon, next year rakh lety Hain."

"Next year? Bht Jaldi nahi hojayega?"

"Nahi. Pora ek sal aur hai. Masters bhi complete hojayega, and I am not going for PhD."

"You mean next year exams ky bad shadi karlien, tab tak humien bhi thori tayari ka time mil jayega aur mom dad ko bhi."

"Exactly. Ab...almost January mai exams hongy to February mai date rakh dety Hain. Kya kehty ho?"

He thought for a while then nodded.

"Hmm, nice. Thek hai phir mom dad ko Bata dety Hain."

I smiled and nodded.

"Ek sal mai thori si savings bhi hogaien hain, is sal aur hojaiengi to shadi ki tayari bhi easily karlien gy." I said.

"Hmm. Mai ny bhi mom ko Kaha tha ky hum abhi thora sa settle huay hain, is sal shadi nahi ho payegi."

"Sahi bola. Hum ek dusry ko thek sy time nahi Dy paty, Tum Sara din office hoty ho, mai sham mai coaching hoti hon, dinner ky time hi hum thek sy bat kar paty Hain."

"Han wahi to. Sath mai bethty bhi Hain to study ky liye. Outing py bhi nahi ja paty." He was caressing my hair. "Bss final exams ky bad atleast studies ki tension to nahi hogi. Aur shadi ki tayari bhi hojayegi easily."

I nodded.

Dinner time:

We settled down for dinner.

"Mom..dad." He spoke.

"Han beta?" Taya abu asked.

"Wo.... ap log shadi ka keh rahy thy."
