CONTINUING FROM PREETA's POV:

I and taie Ami went to mall, did some shopping for ourselves and for Karan and Taya Abu also.

Then we had pizza fries and pasta for lunch....so yummy they were 😋

Then we continued our shopping but we didn't buy anything except for a diary I liked and sunglasses for me and Karan.

It was already evening and Karan told me that whenever we get free, just call him so that he can pick us up.

After about 30 mins he came till then we both ladies enjoyed slush🥤

"Aieee....thak Gaie mai..." I whined a little as soon as I sat in car on front seat.

"Thak to mai bhi gaie hon. Itny din bad Jo Nikki hon shopping py." Said taie Ami.

"Karan, dinner ka dekh lo na. Bahir sy Kuch mangwa lo." I asked him.

"Han Ghar chal k dekhty hn." He said.

Soon we reached home and as soon as he opened the door and entered, I noticed something.

Balloons and ribbons along the wall, in kitchen, in all of the rooms but something on the table of drawing room caught my attention.

A Cake!

A Cake with my name on it!

A BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!

Wait.....

Before I remember it, Karan wished me holding my hands with a smile.

"Happiest Birthday Preeta!"

It's my birthday!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

I FORGOT!

SINCE PAST SIX YEARS, I FORGET MY BIRTHDAY EVERY YEAR AND TODAY ALSO.

KARAN's POV:

"Happy Birthday Preeta!"

By her expressions I figured out that she forgot her birthday. Tears welled up in her eyes and a smile spread on her lips.

"Thankyou." She giggles wiping her tears.

Mom dad too wished her.

"Acha ro to mat." I wiped her tears. "Aao cake kato."

She looked around the decorations happily.

She pulled me beside her and cut the cake. She fed all of us and we too fed her. I applied cake on her nose and cheeks.

Awieee! She looked cute as she scrunched her nose.
