"Cole i fucking hate you" i scream as Cole and Isaac ran down from the patio laughing their heads off.

i was just sunbathing on the pool and Isaac had the great idea of pulling another of his stupid pranks but making Cole pour a bucket of ice cold water over me as Jordan recorded.

i stood up and wrapped the now drenched beach towel around my body where i went inside to go change out of my bikini.

i practically live at the walter's, my moms always away working out of town so I'm always the party thrower these days, i've been sleeping over the walter's for the weekend as Katherine's bringing a girl here, her parents have apparently passed away and on their will Katherine and George were to take her if anything happens.

they want me to make friends with her as it's a house of boys except from Parker who's younger and Katherine herself. i don't mind at all, me and Emily have been talking about it all week to meet her.

Isaac and Lee aren't that bothered about having someone new but the rest are quite excited to meet her.

"sorry" Isaac chuckled as i had just got changed and he walked into his room where i was waiting for him.

i was wearing my grey joggers and a blue cropped long sleeve shirt.

"you do know every prank you pull you apologise after so how about you bother someone else with them" i laughed as he shook his head.

"the rest don't give a good reaction you always have a problem" he mumbled.

"i hate you" i grunted as she snickered under his breath.

"you doing anything today? Jackie shouldn't be too long i reckon" he asked as i sat down in-front of his bed where he was.

"maybe trying to not get hyperthermia" i grunted as he tried not to laugh.

he grabbed his throw that he had since he came here and wrapped it round me before telling me to follow him.

"hi" i mumbled as i received a nod from Alex as me and Isaac sat next to him, Isaac picking up a controller to play with alex on a game as i just sat back and watched.

after around twenty minutes of them arguing over who won they settled down and played something else as lee told them to shut up because he could hear it all around the house where he was skating.

we heard the door turn and me, Isaac and Alex looked back and forth at eachother.

Jackie was here.

i stood up and walked into the enterance where her, katherine and george stood.

"hi im Imogen" i smiled as she smiled back at me. her hair was slicked back and she was dressed really posh.

you can tell she's from new york.

"i'm jackie" she smiled as i nodded and followed Katherine and her around the house.

i realised katherine was on the phone as we stood in the kitchen.

"who have you met so far" i whispered as she was looking around.

"Danny, a boy on a skateboard, benny and that's it" she smiled as i laughed.

"lee loves skateboarding, danny's really nice everyone loves benny he mainly plays with Parker though, you don't see him much to be honest" i added, i tried to make her comfortable and assure her that she's okay here and that i wanted to be her friend.

"come i'll show you Isaac and Alex" i insisted as George followed us with her suitcases.

"alex, Isaac." i shouted.

"hey, guys, can you stop that for a second" George insisted as they both looked up.

Alex stood up immediately, okay, chill out.

isaac spoke "what's up?" and jackie nodded. i don't think she really liked him that much, but then again she's really new so who's to tell, she might warm up to us all one day.

George told Alex to get the other bag from the passage and he started to head out before staring at jackie, saying hi.

he was always the best for making people comfy and happy around here, always so open and kind bless his heart.

he couldn't take his eyes off her, i looked at Isaac and his eyes widened as i smirked a little.

George showed her around a little from downstairs as i sat down with Isaac, we both listened around:

katherine was on the phone with her work, i always felt so bad for her she never took the money she is supposed to be and she's so kind to everyone i love her so much.

"jackie im so sorry i have to go"  we heard.

i was just about to stand up to go help Katherine get Jackie comfortable but she said Will was there and Isaac told me to sit down.

i got the idea that he didn't seem to really like Jackie, and didn't want me to help Katherine at all.

i sat down and picked up the other controller that alex had left a few minutes before.

we heard will take jackie upstairs then eventually outside.

"she seems nice" i mumbled.

"yeah everyone's nice when you first meet them" he muttered.

"she's new give her a break isaac" i muttered as he looked at me.

"im just saying Katherine and George don't need this right now they have enough on their plate" he muttered.

"yeah i know, but you know they would do anything for jackie's mom and it was in their will, just let them do what they can and what they want" i smiled.

"i hate how you just like everyone" he argued as he pulled me into a chokehold.

"except for you of course" i struggled through his grip.

benny ran in and slapped Isaac with his toy truck for having hold of me, making him wince and hold his eye and i gave Benny a high five.

"he's my favourite" i mumbled as Isaac just smiled.

"i hate you" he groaned.

the rest of the night flew, Katherine come home late, George had everyone hushed to bed and i was layed on the sofa with Isaac.

i slept in his bed last night and he slept down here, i insisted we would swap but he won't have it.

"i'm dreading school tomorrow" he groaned.

"don't lie you love it, everyone all over you and Cole"

sometimes i don't understand why they get so much attention, there both really kind boys but their such pricks when their together and sometimes just pricks in general. Cole's overrated, his hair could do with some brown dye not more bleach, and Isaac is actually underrated compared to Cole, yeah i get the tall, tan, mysterious, popular boy. but an actual name like the "Cole effect" for girls who find interest in him, is that for real? it's stupid.
