When I looked into his eyes it was like skydiving and never landing.

I push daryl away and say "get away from me." I see the man who's name is Rick let go of Chad and slowly put his hand on his gun. Chad walks towards me and asks "you know him?" I nod and say "I don't want to." Daryl looks at me remembering what he did to Harvey and I.

He walks closer to me, I back up "get away from me." I said putting my hand on my gun. Rick walked forward with his hand on his gun as well. I see Daryl put his hand up letting him know not to do anything.

Rick backs up and nods. "look I get it, I remember and I haven't stopped thinking about it since the day it happened. we have a prison, you and your friends can come stay with us." I look towards Chad as if asking if he still wanted to go.

I was about to say something but a ear piercing scream stopped me. Harvey's scream for that matter. I stopped everything and started to run towards where we left them. I had my gun in one hand and my other was blocking the branches from hitting me.

I finally came to a stop and didn't see Harvey or Rose here. But I saw Harvey's back pack and the knife i let him use.

I started to scream out his name " Harvey! Harvey please!" I didn't get an answer or a single movement in the woods. "fuck!" I scream and fell to my knees. Soon the trees started to move towards where I am. I didn't put my gun up thinking that Harvey heard me and came back but all I got was a skinny walker with rotten teeth and milky eyes.

I kicked the walkers knees and it came tumbling to the ground. I pulled out my knife and stabbed it's head multiple times to the point where there was blood all over my face. I continued to stab at the walker in hopes it would bring Harvey back to me.

Finally I feel hands gripping at my stomach pulling me off. I get turned around and soon come face to face with Chad. He puts his hands on each side of my face. " Hey look I understand that it seems like Rose can't protect herself but when it comes down to her protecting someone she starts to pull her head out of her ass."

I nod and try to calm down. " come back with us, and we'll help you track em'?" Daryl says. I look down and think. I play with my knife in my hand and watch the blood drip down from the sharp tip. I close my eyes it would be nice to have a bed to sleep in. I look towards Chad and see him nod. "okay, but as soon as we get there we drop off our shit and go out to look for Harvey." Daryl nods and looks towards Rick.

Rick stepped forward and asked "How many walkers have you killed?" I shrug and say "Alot I guess." Rick looked towards Chad awaiting an answer "Lost count." Chad answered.

Rick shifted his weight onto one foot and asked "how many people have you killed?" This question. I didn't know how to answer it. Chad answered before me "None." I started to think back when Harvey and I were at the camp. the camp where I thought I had my "first love". stupid girl, I thought to myself. How could anyone be so foolish to think that you could find love in such a horrible and deadly world.

"um...one." Daryl looked at me as if I was still the little girl he once knew. "why?" Rick asked mostly towards me. How could I explain such a thing? It wasn't something I could just blurt out. At least I couldn't, I couldn't just tell someone- who I didn't even know- the story that gives me nightmares, the story that keeps me up at night. "Love is more powerful then you think." I answered bluntly.

"follow us." Rick said. I nodded. Great now they've got me thinking about my past. Something that's been stuck in the back of my head for as long as I could remember now it's coming back to me.
