Chapter 4: The Meeting

  Palutena's angelic-long green hair glimmered behind her hallo as she walked with her mighty staff to the meeting table to meet with the centurions and the captain of the guard; Pit. "I have called you all here today because Pandora has returned. It is safe to say she wants to revive Hades."

A centurion raised his hand, "And how are we going to do that?"

Palutena smiled, "I am glad you asked. You see, there are three scrolls that very few know about that can raise people... or gods from the dead. They are the scrolls of bodily restoration, unity of the soul, and power of creation."

Pit had someone write it down as he could not read it but needed it for records. "What do each of them mean or should it be obvious in the names?"

Palutena took a deep breath. It was a bit scary for her to have to explain this. "The scroll of bodily restoration gathers up all the components of a being's body and puts it back together as if nothing happened. The scroll of unity of the soul puts the soul back into the body as beings are composed of souls or spirits. Finally, the scroll of the power of creation allows a being to create what they desire, within boundaries of course. If Hades is revived, then he can use human souls in mass to create an Underworld army. Rumor has it that the scrolls can make a being more powerful than we can imagine and it is possible whoever found the scrolls had no clue of the full potential and took a wild guess of what they are."

A centurion raised his hand. "But how are there Underworld troops now?"

Pit jumped, "Yeah! The mirror of truth is shattered, Pandora cannot remember where it is, and she does not have the power to create beings. Anything she could try to make would be DESPICABLE, DISGUSTING, HORRENDOUS, A PIECE OF CRAP THAT SHOULD BE THROWN AWAY!... Minus Pittoo, I know we wanted to eliminate him right after his creation but a little bit later, he became pretty chill."

Palutena looked down and started crying.

Pit felt ashamed. "W-Was it something I said?"

Palutena gathered herself up. "She made a being somehow. However, that has nothing to do with the Underworld troops." Then she sighed. "A report from Viridi came in. Underworld troops are attacking people in random areas. So somehow, she is making them. It is possible someone glued the Mirror of Truth back together."

Pit shook his head. "How would that be possible since Pandora cannot find her way back to her Labyrinth?"

Palutena ended the meeting, "I do not know. There has got to be a way because she cannot create an army in mass. That is all the information I have. There could be more we do not know about."
