Chapter 3: Into the Ship

Pit was almost at the ship and he noticed that it was not sailing straight. It was going side-to-side.

Palutena managed to land Pit in the control center, resulting in a broken window. The shards were small in quantity but did not go too far into the ship.

"Ouch." When Pit got up, he found himself stumbling because the ones Viridi sent appeared to be fighting over the steering wheel.

"Give me the control, I am superior!" Dark Pit was trying to get control of the wheel from Marsha.

Marsha could not talk so she stuck her tongue at him to show that she did not care.

"Don't give me that sass. Only I can give sass." Dark Pit kicked her away.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! You can't do that to a woman!" Pit ran to check up on Marsha who used her magic book to heal herself.

She signed that she was fine and walked away to let Pit and Dark Pit confront each other.

Dark Pit set the steering wheel to autopilot. "Well well well. If it isn't Pitstain, the puppet of Palutena."

Pit readied himself for confrontation. "One, I am not a puppet. Two, even if I was, that would mean you are Viridi's puppet."

Dark Pit scoffed at that comment with his edgy personality. "On the contrary, I have a contract with her. I have had one for some time now. Originally I helped Viridi to get a good fight in, but now I watch Marsha." He muttered his breath, "even though she is an adult." Then his voice picked up, " to maintain the status of the general she gave me ten years ago."

Pit sighed. "You never change, do you?"

Dark Pit let out a groan. "Sort of. Now I have to play along with her because she calls me Πατέρας (Pateras; which means father) since she views me as a father. I have to pretend I see her as a daughter."

Pit smiled, "That is so adorable!"

Palutena interrupted. "Time to defeat the space pirates."

Pit jumped in the air in delight. "Then onward to Pandora's Labyrinth of Deceit!"

Dark Pit was laughing. "Pandora hasn't been there since I created you. She is somewhere in the mountains... Me and Viridi think. Once Marsha takes care of the blue 'infection' on the top of her hair, she can guide you to a potential location because I am too lazy and need a break from watching her."

Pit was mad, "You are a copy of me! I accidentally created you!"

Palutena was surprised that Pandora was not in the labyrinth. "Why?!"

Dark Pit scoffed. "She's been gone so long from that place that she forgot where it is."

Marsha used her magic book to hit them with some snow. Dark Pit and Pit turned around and she pointed to the space pirates busting the door down and pulling out their space guns. She signed "Less talking and more paying attention you idiots."

Pit pulled out his bow and started fighting with Dark Pit. Together, they managed to take down the space pirates and shut down their communications system. Dark Pit forced Pit out of the ship and took off with it.

Pit was mad but Palutena brought him back to Skyworld to recover so he would have energy to try to find Pandora.
