"Yes, but we gods fight too, and when we do, humans are always caught in the middle" — Palutena
Pit rushed out the doors and Palutena activated the power of flight.
"So are you taking me to where Marsha is so we can find Pandora before humans get hurt?"
"Yes, Viridi told me something about meeting her over the mountain by the largest city-state before she broke off telepathy. Something is telling me she is in trouble. I tried talking to Poseidon the other day and he did not respond. I am worried that the gods are disappearing and Pandora is responsible for this. I could be next."
Pit gasped, "We could never let that happen! Make me go faster and try to open the doors closer next time."
Palutena sighed, "If it only were that easy. I can't open doors wherever I like. My powers are bound to distances."
As Pit was flying, he was seeing some Underworld troops attacking a small town. "It's so sad that humans are getting hurt all because of Pandora."
"Indeed, we can take care of them after we take care of Pandora."
"Lady Palutena, there are sure a lot of them."
"Hm, I wonder if the Mirror of Truth was truly rebuilt. We can figure that out later, right now you are approaching the mountain."
"I see Marsha, she looks bored. Take me down so we can kick Pandora's butt!"
Palutena lowered Pit to the ground. Marsha was cleaning her glasses and keeping the remaining scroll on her dress sash like a sword, not worried about the humans because she believed they were caught in the chaos because of the gods' struggle for control over the earth and heavens.
"Hi Marsha, are you ready to keep Pandora's butt?"
She got up and sighed, "Let's make this quick. I want to get back to my mitéra, Viridi."
Palutena whispered, "Pit, don't tell her Viridi has gone missing. She will panic and we need her to be your guide."
"No need to whisper, since she can't speak, she cannot communicate with telepathy and therefore hear us."
Marsha grabbed Pit and signed, "Let's get going. I do not have all day. If I am gone too long, my mitéra will be worried. She hardly lets me out on my own. Usually, when I am down on earth, she is with me in disguise."
Pit was consumed with guilt as he knew he was ordered by Palutena to stay silent on any topic about Viridi. He followed her as they walked through the mountain full of trees. Marsha was making sure Pit did not take a wrong step anywhere and trample on baby plants.
Marsha got tired of walking so she started flying slightly above the ground.
"She can fly?!" Pit was shocked. Palutena was also surprised Marsha had that ability. Neither of them had seen her do that before.
Pit was trying to focus as he was still in shock, "I can't believe Pand– er pancakes are amazing."
Marsha paused for a moment, "What are you and pathetic Palutena talking about p-a-n-c-a-k-e-s? Actually, what are p-a-n-c-a-k-e-s?"
Pit told her "Never mind," and they kept walking until Marsha made him halt.
"Wait here, something seems off a bit, I am going to make sure it is alright. We could be close to where Pandora is. Don't destroy any nature while I am gone!" She landed and ran off.
Pit sat on a rock as he feared how angry Marsha would be if he accidentally broke a bush or tree.
Several hours passed by, and Pit and Palutena were getting worried.
Pit tapped his fingers together, "What if she is hurt or captured?!"
Palutena was in doubt, "Marsha is very talented with magic, I doubt it."
"I am going to look for her." Pit headed in the direction Marsha went while calling out her name. "MARSHA! MARSHA! WHERE ARE YOU?"
While he was searching, from behind someone tossed a sharp stone that barely missed Pit. He turned around and was in shock. "Who are you?"
